The judgment is on Babylon that has made the church dead. A church is dead that does not partake in the Spiritual life that Jesus Christ brings

Babylon has seduced the church to follow the carnal kingdom of "earth", of Babylon.
v17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
The called, chosen, and faithful have overcome the beast system and the false prophet.
v17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
The woman and the city is Babylon that reigns over the fifth church type.
v3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Overcoming in the fifth church type brings the reward of white raiment(righteousness) and life, there is no life in Babylon, only in Jesus Christ is the book of life.
6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
The vials of the wrath of God are distributed by the throne of God zóon(v15:7) and are the prayers of the saints agreeing with the judgments of God(v5:8)
v16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
The throne of the beast is cast down by the church to overcome the condition of the fifth church type.
The book of Revelation is all about spiritual warfare on Babylon.
v19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Babylon is judged daily by Jesus Christ through the church which is the armies of heaven.
v15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

Well the armies are gathered.
