Partly right... American citizens who are criminals do have certain rights... due process, jury of their peers, no unusual or cruel punishments, etc.

Court system...um, maybe. But that is a long, laborious strategy that could take decades. While a concentrated Islamic push to take over American cities can play out in mere days and weeks. This may come to a civil war within our nation, and I'm not sure that would be a bad thing.

Well, if one applies the tenets of "triage" (determining which patient needs immediate care as opposed to those who will die no matter what you do or who have less critical injuries), Haiti falls into the "die no matter what you do" category, IMHO. It's national and cultural history shows us that Haiti is beyond help and the world should just back away and let them solve their own problems.

Ever since Haiti revolted under French rule and became "independent" it has been a cesspool of corruption, violence, ignorance, and superstition.

I know a couple of doctors who regularly go to Haiti on mission trips, and they think they are doing good works. Maybe, but despite international aid that has been going on since at least the 1950s, the country still manages to exist in squalor and death. Personally, I wouldn't send a dime to the country that will just swallow it without any measurable improvements.

A good case can be made that Islam is less of a religion and more of a political and cultural contagion, DESIGNED to destroy other nations and ways of life that lie outside the Quran's strict code of behavior. Our Constitution is NOT a suicide pact, and we may be forced to confront this evil ideology here in our country.

Exactly, the actual reach and jurisdiction of Federal District judges has already been limited by SCOTUS.

Odd that Martin would say it's the 249th anniversary of America when this July 4th it will be the 250th anniversary.

Islam is incompatible with a free society, and we need to treat them as such.

When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up and have a Jaguar E-Type convertible coupe. Now I would be embarrassed to own one.

Is it time to, maybe.... oh, I don't know... ELIMINATE this mostly useless office?

It's too bad that I can't find Bono's "poem" anywhere. As an English major who has read countless classical poems from centuries past, I recognize good poetry as opposed to doggerel within the first few lines. I would love to read as much of Bono's poem as I could stand, but I cannot find it anywhere.

If I do find it, I will post a review here in this thread.

For some reason, this reminds me of the old Peter Srllers movie, "The Mouse That Roared."

A few short years ago, I worked in Oak Ridge, TN, in the nuclear field, and where I live now is about 15 minutes from Oak Ridge. I've always known, even as a child growing up in the remote mountains of east Tennessee, the importance of Oak Ridge and its ongoing research functions, but this is quite interesting news. Some of the brightest and most gifted people in the world work there, and it was a pleasure to have known them.

So these girls are about 11 or 12 years old, and plotting murder. Hmmm. Well, civilization was great while it lasted... I'll miss it, but with that kind of barbarity in our future, I guess I should gear up even more than I have already and await the final collapse.

The White House should use the tune "Love Shack" by the B-52s when they arrive.

So our CIC is capable of great bold moves AND great cynicism too... quite a good combination for an American leader.

In a perfect world, the three mouseketeers Kagan, Sotomeyor, and Brown would obey that order, withdraw their stupidly written dissent, and side with the majority.
