I'm glad to see my state of Tennessee among them. If TN follows through, I hope our legislature will have a concomitant public campaign informing our citizens exactly WHY they are doing this. I still encounter fellow Tennesseans who believed all the hype and took their jabs and boosters, and who might not instinctively understand why they would be banned. But if you know... you know.
Translation: "We have made every single government agency SO COMPLICATED and Byzantine, that even WE don't understand how it works anymore, and DOGE is going to 'fix it' now? HA! Give me a break, right? AM I RIGHT??!!"

As a transactional president, a businessman all of his life, EVERYTHING is a negotiation. His words (sorry if they're hurtful to you) are not aimed at you, but at your leadership, the ones who can make change happen. The old "art of diplomacy" has not been working well, at least for America, for a long time now. With Trump, the velvet gloves are off and he's going straight for the throat.
It's the only way things can get done to bring about positive change, both for America AND, in the long run, for Canada and other nations as well. Yes, Trump is a wrecking ball, but that's precisely what I voted for.

No, actually that is QUITE helpful. It makes me think that if the DOL is under the DOGE microscope and the employees know it, they might suddenly turn efficient and do their jobs better and quicker. As such, my issue with the DOL might get resolved very soon.
