I'm not sure what the options are for communication in the future, when I was a child our families used CB radios to talk every day here in Iowa. I know some folks use marine band radios to hunt coyotes because it is illegal to use radios for hunting, but something about marine band bypasses attention? Maybe HAM radio? Update, so I called the walmart and asked if i could just get my money back and the person I talked to said yes. It was/is a 200 mile drive. I get there and first person says umm yeah/no. So I asked for a manager, he comes out from what I assume was the money room and say, yup non refundable. My repy was fukk corporate America. Seems if I want my money I have to hope Greendot/Walmart $$ card lets it go thru.
