I've recently looked up "self hypnosis to quit drinking" on Youtube and found an interesting video by Dan Jones.

I listened to it with full awareness to make sure it wasn't something that was going to "put me under" and take advantage of me and found that it was more like thought association or re-association.

As a Christian, and here is where the flaming will likely begin, I found it to be a logical solution. I have found it helpful in my own journey so far.

I've prayed about it as well.

I'm going to continue listening to the guided meditation (it doesn't really fit my pre-conceived ideas of hypnosis) and test it by the fruit it produces.

For anyone who wishes to reply and just throw hate my way, please don't waste your energy. I will take my thoughts, concerns and prayers directly to my Heavenly Father.
