Great show with lots of good discussions and presentations. I've been watch Zac for quite a while, but had not watched Badlands Media before he joined them. I really like the questions he's willing to ask out loud and pursue answers to since they are usually my questions as well... and a few I haven't thought of. I was worried that that would get lost when he joined Badlands... I worried for nothing. Like I said... great show!
I have no outrage here. I just have little patience for toxic discourse. I find it ill mannered and ineffective to incorporate self-righteous posturing in any discussion or debate. If I believe someone may not have all the facts, I offer the ones I know of up for discussion - gracefully and knowing that I do not know everything. However, when attacked during a discussion or debate and then am met with a demand such as an apology or "mea culpa", you won't get it out of me in any shape or form because I am a normal healthy human being who is adverse to others being total dicks.
Recently, I heard someone say "anger is just a face of fear". What do you fear?
Must be getting close to the time when Julian Assange pulls the trigger.
lol. All the Hawaiian islands are 100% volcano. Not sure what you think that other 25% is supposed to be!
Libel, really? I don't have to admit jackshit, buddy.
What is an anon who relies on Wikipedia as a reputable source called?
I've taken a look at your comments for the past few days and see that it is your habit to belligerently bitch at everyone. How's that for research?
They are likely being used to ferry the people who lost their homes/cars, FEMA personnel, and others.
Of note, I went to school on the Big Island and the buses were rarely more than about 20 students on a bus. A lot of families live away from town up in the mountains (up mauka as they say there) where the land has passed down through generations of families. I traveled 10 miles to the nearest high school when I lived there and there were never more than a dozen kids on the bus.

Hawaiian families are private and have no trust of government. They are well aware of what the US government has imposed on native americans on the mainland. They will not rush to report to any "outsiders" anything.
-
Most of the families don't live in town. Internet and cell access was pretty low before the fire in the mauka areas. It likely they are non-existent right now. Parents are likely not social media savvy in any way.
-
Access to the roads they do live on were blocked by fire and are likely still blocked by government action, fallen trees, burned cars, and even possibly damaged bridges. This prevents them to getting to areas to report any issues and they assume they are on their own.

The news has reported on searches of Lahaina town, but I have not heard about any searches or other activity in the mauka areas where most of these families live.
"... And the Namrata Randhawa crowd."
There, I fixed it.
Agreed. I think we should all call her out by her real name though and make the point that she even lies about her name.
this is the amount that our politicians should be getting, at most.
I've always found that the differences boil down to how much people trust the government. I know super smart people that were in various states of trusting that the government was ultimately looking out for the good of the people. While some of that are still stuck in that LaLa land, some have stepped back from the line and are taking a hard look at RFKjr. Unfortunately, the DNC is doing a great job of burying RFKjr. My hope is that enough people will see what the DNC is doing to him and give the DNC the same middle finger that the rest of us on the right are giving to the RNC.
Just like in the US, areas outside the major cities are mostly pro-Trump. It still amazes me how much they pay attention and talk about US politics.
Disney Plus' latest new TV series is "Drag Me To Dinner"
The Disney I grew up with is a memory. This new Disney is DINO (Disney In Name Only)
They weren't getting enough people riled up about school shootings. Now, they've turned to burning down entire towns.
I literally just watched this last night.

I lived on the Big Island. Except for QL Hwy, Ali'i Drive in Kailua town, and subdivision roads in Kamuela, Hilo, and Kona... all roads were crushed lava. That was still true last time a visited a few years back.
One of my personal pet peeves is the misuse of "literally". Some people really don't understand their own language.
So I've finished watching the original full film... although I skipped through some of the music videos and some parts that didn't actually have Roger Stone. The teaser clip in the article originally posted above comes at the end of the video. This section is definitely dubbed. Most of the shots show his mouth covered by his cell phone and when his mouth is shown it doesn't line up with what's being said and often the body language doesn't coincide.
My conclusion is that they have stuffed this bullshit clip in with an otherwise boring but "truthful" documentary trying to give it some credence. The clip is inconsistent with the rest of the documentary.
This doesn't mean that Roger Stone is not a shady dude, because its obvious he is. Only time will tell if he's shady for good or evil.

Thanks for the info. Duly noted.
I'm leaning that way, but feel like I need more info... which is why I'm asking for more info on it. I'm looking for sauce more than opinions on this matter.
Ahh. Well, I don't have an answer. I'm still investigating.
I am hoping that the community here has information to help clarify whether he is working for Trump (and us) or is a traitorous mole.
Thanks, no I was still responding to your original comment.
It was supposedly created by the Danish Intelligence Agency posing as documentarians. I'm only a third of the way through a first pass of the film. There is a lot to take in and process.
In this day and age it hard to know who to trust. And, face it, Roger Stone IS a shady dude no matter how you cut it. I do hope he's on the people's side... but we have been fooled before as you know. So, I won't necessarily be taking Roger's claims on face value.
My first reaction to the teaser video was "who's that?". And when it said it was Roger Stone... I thought WTF. So now I'm just going through the full video to see if it is actually part of Tore's video and if so what the context its in, and all that shit. Its a 3 hour video, so still watching. Hoping I can get some info on it from other pedes who may have watched it and get a better idea of what it is.
This is the original full video supposedly. I posted it as the first comment, but posting again here for convenience.

The gal who posted it is Tore Maras, who ran in 2022 as an Independent for Ohio Secretary of State. She seems pro-Trump, anti corruption. She has a solid following. The comments for the video are mixed and no sauce.
To be clear, I'm just starting to look into this and am asking the community for help in sorting out whether its legit or not.
Not sure what you are asking for as far as an "overview".
Maybe. Maybe not.
