Yep. It's amazing what one could do photographically these days 😎

Been a tough week. We lost our little Gypsy after 12 years, great little dog. Last night I got so angry I blew my top; all this shit had been building up. I hope the national situation is resolved soon. I know President Trump knows what he is doing, and I still trust the plan, but I would be remiss if I didn't say that this has had an effect on all of us, not just me.

One of the things I had to deal with growing up was ignorance. Autism and other physical issues were not really known about in depth as they are these days. I suffered significant physical abuse because back then, that was the only way to deal with it. I eventually grew up, and the episodes subsided, but I still remember my mother coming after me with a wooden spoon or a belt because I didn't know then what I was doing. I feel for this kid, really. His parents are so ignorant. One of the reasons I decided to become a teacher is so that I could ensure that no kid would endure what I had to go through as a kid - sexual, physical and emotional abuse. Now that I am in my sixties and don't have that much time left, I wish there was something I could do.

My mom used to do that to me. Only back then in the 60's, no one knew what autism and other physical difficulties were. I think back on when Sister Marguerite used to hit me with a yardstick because I would stammer, stutter and all that.

I don't get these guys. They can't seriously be this fucking stupid. This has to be a parody account or something.

The Air Force might have the final say with long-range bombers, but the rubber is going to meet the road when you call in the carriers.

Stepping way back in time, one of the first memories I had a s a child was watching his father get shot at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles in 1968. I used to stay up late to wake up my mom for her midshift at the US Poat Office. My, how time flies.

Man, they are ripping the dems to shreds over there on X. It's hilarious, but some of the stuff will give you nightmares.

Thanks SuzyeQ. We found that the best thing to do is to make the best of the time you have with them.

Our little Gypsy crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this morning. Great little Chihuahua. Gave us twelve of our best years. She went quick, but now she isn't suffering anymore. I know there are some dog lovers here who can understand what that's like.

One of the greatest tunes by the Doors, btw. Always liked to sing this with some Navy buddies in bars overseas, but only after a sufficient amount of alcohol had been ingested.

How convenient. Anything to sell a book. I don't mind bringing these two down at all, but Woodward's time has come and gone and for once, O'Reilly might have been right - this guy's a hack.

It surprises me that this guy got as far as he did and has been able to pull this shit off for so long. Tyson is a fraud and an embarrassment to the physics community.

The irony is, I have cut back on drinking and have quit smoking altogether. Hell, had I stayed with it, I would be dead by the time this election / non-election business is over. Hell, I sure could use a Winston and a glass of scotch right now.

That one with the teaching is so true. I also like the church one with "And also with you." Great job, Fester.

He's [Walz] the same age as me. I can't believe he thinks he can get away with this. I had a rather unspectacular run as a nuclear propulsion electrician in the US Navy, and never racked up a bunch of medals or anything but come on. You can't lie about this shit. It's called stolen valor for a reason.

And it looks like, perusing the comment boards on MSM [at least those who have open comments sections] that there is an exponential increase in the number of Trump-hating comments, which shows me he did well and as usual, played them.
