so I found his twitter:

https://nitter.net/ThisIsKyleR

Actually right now he and some police departments are being sued:

https://www.givesendgo.com/kylerittenhouse

He tweeted: "No lawsuits have even been filed yet." in response to a story that the View settled with him privately for $22 million

looks like he hasn't filed any lawsuits yet

he made a silly game shooting "fake news turkeys" to raise funds for lawsuits:

fake polls

yeah that was one of my first thoughts in seeing this, it's just a self-fulfilling prophecy article intended to create the effect of the title even though it's not true, so I'm trying to do the same in the opposite direction with my post (although my title is not necessarily false, or intended to open up discussion on if it is true): they're trying to say "Christianity is dying" in order to make it so

They're simply choosing not to affiliate with a mainline church anymore

interesting, I haven't given this thought but in a way I also fall in to this group. I follow Catholicism, but we believe the "mainline church" has been taken over and is not Catholic, so I am "home alone" (sedevacantist) in response and not involved in these church groups but am religious. c/sede

atheism has no inherent morals (does it?), so I think a lot of Christian morals are still being unknowingly taken to heart but I see some of this fracturing at times as well

the old conflict of authority versus knowledge

nice, anything you'd like to discuss on the topic, like how you came to the conclusion or whatever or anything new?

I created c/sede for discussions so as to not clutter up some of these main boards

mostly I don't know what happens "next" but I'm speculating there will have to be a widespread awareness created of what happened, people will pray for God to help resolve things, and probably somehow a traditional pope will be elected with Vatican 2 being rejected and this era of history will move on. It's been so long with things being different that it's hard to envision how it will feel with this all finally being past us.

There are some comparable parallels going on:

Like we here think the 2020 U.S. presidential election was stolen, some Catholics think the 1958 conclave that elects a pope was stolen by non-Catholics, which means a non-pope was "selected"

The Church stood in the way of "woke" progress so its institutions were taken over - instead of being disbanded, its institutions were made to not obstruct the designs of people who want to act contrary to Christian principles.

Our position is the conclusion of rejecting a false conservativism that wants to conserve some of the "modern updates", much like some of our "conservative" politicians want to go half in on voting for out of control spending bills and such. We find the other "traditionalist" positions to be contradictory half-measures.

not only that, I see some double down in areas without mask mandates, they still wear masks and act sour towards anyone not wearing one

it will be interesting to see this carry on for years with people practically choosing to wear a "Scarlet Letter" of sorts, self-imposed, marking them as probably supporting all kinds of other immoral actions (in addition to their, shall we say unnecessary, caution)

gov't just didn't like tiktok because it was redpilling people and not in their control, aren't facebook or google doing similar things but under u.s. control?

I'd say a primary driver is the embrace of immorality out of a false sense of tolerance, which creates guilt over bad things done, or lack of sense of self-reliance instilled which leads to mismanaging personal problems, etc.

how can this be accomplished without high trust

low crime and high trust have gone hand in hand before: https://www.pewresearch.org/global/2008/04/15/where-trust-is-high-crime-and-corruption-are-low/

I guess things like bitcoin attempt to be "trustless"

oh yes I'm very much aware of what happened

I believe it implies sedevacantism today or there's no pope or churches to go to that we know of

unironically though gangs can be our private police when public police are standing down when needed

meh, we just need to privatize the schools

kind of restricts freedom for conservative expression of beliefs / politics

I'm not following closely enough, I don't really care too much for seeing those flags or pronouns, but simply banning them doesn't make the mental illness go away

right so we need to start other companies and support them

JD shouldn't get the business as they've shown they're not a good company

I like open designs anyone can work with

however look in to "right to repair", sometimes they're trying to create regulations to force businesses to make products a certain way

instead people should openly build good designs, create and support those businesses, then the businesses with nonrepairable designs can be defeated voluntarily without relying on the government
