I have 2 thoughts on this. First, it is very clear that President Trump did not consult with RFK Jr. on this pick. This is troubling to me. Second, perhaps "Surgeon General" will be among the first positions eliminated by DOGE. Great to think about, but MSNBC is not really for sale. Comcast is creating a separate public company and separating several of their channels into a new business. Along with MSNBC, they are including CNBC, E!, USA Network among others. This will though, I think, make it easier to sell these channels down the road.
