My observation is under President Trump people come and people go, they all seem to have a purpose. I don’t find the Surgeon General’s position to be all that consequential in my life, especially knowing RFK Jr has President Trump’s ear on public health issues.
From what I’ve read the Surgeon General is a position within the HHS that reports directly to an Assistant Secretary. So, she will actually be two tiers down from RFK Jr.
Because different demographics are at different stages in their awakenings.
Lots of doctors will need someone to look up to as an example, for a path to follow out of their darkness and mistakes. Maybe Dr. N. Will be an example to some doctors, the same way Vance serves as an example to some foolish midlife "bros" who hated Trump.
We're watching a chess game unfold. Trump is many moves ahead. Let's see where this goes. Trust Trump and trust the plan. Hold on for a wild few months.

I keep thinking that a lot of these controversial picks are agencies that Ellon is going after. Some of these people are going to be at the helm when it crumbles.
I struggle with these picks that “seem” so terrible. I am reminded of the days before the 2016 election. The GOP was a mess. I remember discussions and divisions and fighting amongst all the candidates in the primary and how Trump and MAGA slowly vanquished the RINOs and the more conservative libertarians alike. I then realized the process of the primary refined and made powerful the message by our own fighting and defending what is important. Right now MAHA seems to lose with a pick like her but just as Gaetz smoked out Thune and team RINO this will hopefully do the same. The pro health and anti mRNA crowd are still uneasy intellectual partners. Surgeon general may be to get the centrist sheep in the debate to move because we need to outreach into the vaccinated sheep to try and save them and not to mock them. She is a terrible pick to this of us who are unvaccinated but if we want to influence the previously vaccinated or the mask crowd? If a parent in on vaccine 71 for their kid they aren’t going to listen to RFK Jr yet but maybe this SG will have a subtle influence. I don’t “love” pick but I don’t “love” going to work out and the mental jiu jitsu of even trying to defend her a little has made stronger in my own beliefs.

Maybe she's going to have her awakening in public for others to follow. Would make interesting viewing. A presser with 47 and doc. 47 turns to her and says, they really had you fooled then and you a smart, well qualified doctor, what hope was there for the rest of us? She splutters angrily. Gives him effective narrative shielding. He is actually incredibly humble :-)
A lot of us were fooled at first. I never get a shot first 2 years it is out, I wait on the data. But she was in the field of medicine and had to rely on the information she was given at the time. You always have to operate on the data you are given at the time. A lot of doctors believed the trials that were recorded on paper were real, you don't expect businesses to fake data to sell faulty vaccines. I can understand. By May 2020 I knew better.
But some of us figured it out WELL before the doctors. I got "The Flu" in December of 2019. By Apri/May of 2020, I "figured it out". Why could I understand it better than these doctors?
I have 2 thoughts on this. First, it is very clear that President Trump did not consult with RFK Jr. on this pick. This is troubling to me. Second, perhaps "Surgeon General" will be among the first positions eliminated by DOGE. Ask anyone what the position is responsible for and you might get an answer about the warning on the side of cigarette packs. And that was 60 years ago.
Two things. If she is a newly minted White Hat, she might know where some bodies are buried that we don't know about yet. But if her Hat is still on the dark side, she will most likely get some tough questions from the likes of Sen. Paul and Sen. Kennedy, and a confirmation hearing might be the best venue to get those (under oath) answers, or damning non-answers. If she can't be forthcoming...SHE and the subject matter will be the story with little blowback on GEOTUS.
I was excited for that organic farmer to be Secretary of Agriculture. I guess that was a rumor. I don't care for a covid pusher to be in government but at the same time, a lot of Republicans still believe in covid. Maybe she knows the truth and will speak it when the time is right. The manufacturers are immune from liability still.
Every nurse who injected someone with the vaxx should lose their medical license and everyone who got kick backs should be In jail. Those who didn't take the jab, jabbed others and got kick backs should get executed for crimes against humanity.
