The rolling stone article about Trump wanting to bring back public executions is in response to this attack.

Do you have a link to that article?

Why bother sharing if you have no way to know if any of it is true? Who do you think you are fooling?

You made a lot of matter of fact statements for someone who doesn't know or trust anything.

Spare me the word salads, Mr. Know Nothing.

Interesting. I've had 2 children in the last 2 years and both had blood taken. I've had 5 children total in the last 12 years and they've all had blood taken to screen for genetic diseases.

Always some ritual and then a problem.

What was it before this? Something and then the earthquake in Turkey?

Wife is a smart cookie!

I know literally nothing. In fact the only thing I know for certain is that I don't know anything.

But you know for sure I'm wrong? Genius. Good luck out there.

This was done to ensure that everyone believed the same thing, making the Roman Empire easier to rule.

It's the one, holy apostolic faith. Everyone is on the same page as opposed to Protestants who believe 100,000 different things. You cannot be ONE when everyone believes something different. This is a huge part of being Catholic. Catholic means universal. If we all believe something different, how are we one?

In order to create certain beliefs, they had to leave out most of the books that were canon at the time (that list is not comprehensive).

And yet the Catholic Church not only put the Bible together that you have today, but they have more books than the Protestant Bible which is only 66 books.

The entire concept of Trinity wasn't an agreed upon part of Christian beliefs until the Catholic church demanded that it be so (see the link on the laws).

So is it the Catholic Church or THE CHURCH? THE CHURCH has the authority to decide dogma based on revelation from the holy ghost. I do not see how this is a problem. Churches have leaders. Churches make decisions. What is the big deal?

And aside from that, nothing you provided is evidence of pagan worship. Pagans were not entirely wrong about the nature of reality. Which specific pagan beliefs were kept? Truth is kept, anything not true is left behind. This is something akin to "a broken clock is right twice a day". You keep what is true regardless of where it came from. Truth is truth.

Except that it does.

Prove it.

I told you what that one particular obelisk signifies for the Catholic church. The Catholic church is not pagan. It's topped with a cross and has been exorcized for a reason. Why bother if its all the same religion?

I am trying to tell you that the Catholic church was created by and is run by the exact same people as those who used the obelisk for its original purpose.

The Catholic church was started by Jesus Christ and while it may be infiltrated, that does not negate the fact that the Church is not pagan nor do we worship a pagan god.

I read it a few times.

You opened with a false statement.

No, I have not been taught that the past and present are separate. I was taught there is nothing new under the sun.

past and the present are intimately connected through the control structures,

And?

What does that prove or negate?

Did you ignore everything I wrote on purpose?

Read again. SLOWLY.

In homage to these early Christian martyrs, against whom death could not ultimately prevail (John 11:25), the Church erected St. Peter’s Basilica on the location of the former circus, and placed the obelisk as a reminder of the victory of both the Church in general and early Christians in particular over the pagan Roman Empire.

There is further evidence refuting the charge of pagan worship by the Catholic Church. In pagan times, a golden ball symbolizing worship of the sun topped the obelisk. However, the Church long ago replaced the golden ball with a cross, in which is contained a relic of the True Cross. Which, ironically, is a fulfillment of Jeremiah 43:13.

AGAIN...

Here is more...

Pope Sixtus V conducted the ancient rite of exorcism against the obelisk. After that he casted sanctified water upon the pillar in the form of a cross and spoke, “In nomine Patris, et Filij, et Spiritus sancti. Amen” (“In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Amen”). The text of the exorcism is carved in Latin into the western and eastern sides of the base of the obelisk.

The obelisk has been conquered. It stands for all to see.

It isn't coming down.

We have been taught, all of our lives, that the past and the present are separate;

Nope, nothing new under the sun as the Bible states.

Where is the evidence to support that belief?

The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun. You either believe the Bible is a historical record or you don't.

You will not be destroying the one at the Vatican.

The obelisk does not signify pagan worship, although it undoubtedly has pagan origins. Where St. Peter’s now stands once stood a Roman circus erected by the infamous Roman Emperor Caligula. Caligula placed this obelisk, a symbol of ancient Egyptian religion, in this circus. Many Christians were executed in this circus, particularly during the reign of the Emperor Nero, and would’ve seen the obelisk in their dying moments as they looked upward. Christian tradition holds that Peter was one of those martyrs.

I was just reading about a woman with liver issues after taking fenben for a month. Thank you for the information! I hope George gets better! I have definitely seen a reduction in tumor size on my dog using zinc so if you've never tried that, maybe that would be a good combo. My dogs eat a food that includes liver, which is high in copper, so I don't worry too much about 15 mg of extra zinc every few days. Something to look into. God bless you.

Like I just told another user, I just bought some to see if it has any effect on my dog's fatty tumor.

I hope you're right.

Ah no way! I literally just bought some for my dog for that reason to try and experiment. I had got it to shrink with zinc added to his food but it keeps coming back.

Thank you so much for your comment! How many days have you given fenben?

The Catholic church is the ONE TRUE HOLY AND APOSTOLIC religion established by Jesus Christ.
