Some on this board have noticed correlations between GME and Q. This morning the sub has been taken over Q-esque decodes connecting chairman Ryan Cohen to Wu-Tang Clan. It truly is strange, but thought some of you guys would find it interesting to see how the sub has been learning to decode.

The connections could all just be a publicity stunt, I'm not sure. But I wonder if it would enable some of the Redditors to learn to read between the lines like Anons have.

"call it hero worship or whatever"

It isn't hero worship to think the guy can run a business well.

I was conflicted on this. Local business going under only makes more room for big corp businesses to move in (see, Great Reset).

I've decided to live and let live and just withhold business until mandates are done. Better to give business back to an ignorant local than to an evil corporation.

Holy shoot, that Joker connection.

Of course, for those out of the loop, Heath Ledger died before release of The Dark Knight, where he played the Joker.

I had never heard of The Crow. The character looks just like Ledger's Joker. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=the+crow+movie&t=h_&iax=images

From Wikipedia,

Production on The Crow was struck by tragedy when Lee was fatally wounded during filming. As Lee had finished most of his scenes before his death, the film was completed through script rewrites, a stunt double, and digital effects.

No one asking the important questions... Why is there a giant olive on that statue's arm??

Note that you can't take cash out of a Roth IRA without penalty until you are at retirement age, and you can't direct register those shares (as far as I know).

I put off getting a brokerage account for years due to overwhelm. If I were showing a friend what to do, it would be something like this (not financial advice):

  1. Pick a broker and open account. Their websites will give direction to walk you through the process step by step.
  2. Really, just pick one. Don't overthink it. Fidelity and Schwab are popular and don't get as bad a rap as some others.
  3. Link a checking account to fund you stock purchases. This may be done in the setup process. It might take a little time for your bank/credit union to verify the connection.
  4. Fund your brokerage account. There will probably be a button somewhere saying "transfer funds" or something like that.
  5. When your account is funded, look for a big button saying something like "BUY STOCKS".
  6. There, enter the code for the company (e.g. GME, DWAC).
  7. Say how many you want to buy. There are some options such as limits and puts. Limit means you can set an amount you don't want to pay over. For example, if I'm buying 1 share of GME and it says it is at $180, I can set a limit for 200, just in case the price rockets in between the few minutes between now and the time the order finishes processing.

That's it! There is way more you can learn, but that's all the basics my theoritical friend would need to know to buy a share through a broker.

From there, I might direct him to direct register (DRS), since that makes it harder for brokers to do shady stuff. If he were wanting to direct register a share of GME, I would direct him to the following post. The information here only applies to GME, but it gives a good overview of the DRS process:

GME has been all about direct registration. From what I understand, each company has one company that plays this role, for GME that is a company called ComputerShare. I haven't yet found what the agency is to direct register DWAC. So at this point I just bought through my broker, and can figure out direct registration later.

Whatever broker you use, you can probably buy individual shares through them.

Also consider closing out your bank account and placing your fluid cash in a local credit union!

I can't wait for the post-awakening PARTY. In the meanwhile, hopefully you have some based friends to share a cold one with. We all need to keep up morale.

We aren't doing anything... Though we may happen to make some of the same personal choices. As for me, I like to hodl.

Why would you buy a Chinese stock when their economy is on the verge of a collapse?

So is FAST the agency to direct register with? E.g. ComputerShare for GME.
