Ugh. Just tried to edit my post and my fat fingers hit the back button.
So, not much in the way of ties between the suspect and Delegate Mangione. They are 11 years apart in age and went to different high schools, although both are in Baltimore. The delegate has shut down all commenting on his FB page, which I guess you can't blame him.
What IS interesting is that the Mangione family owns two country clubs in the area, and after graduating valedictorian from the Gilman School (VERY expensive private school), the suspect received both an undergraduate and a graduate degree from UPenn.
I think we can rule out disgruntled patient, given the family's wealth. They would be able to pay for any procedure without blinking. My money's now on either some Pelosi-tied hit, or student radicalized at Ivy League university. Of course, if there are direct ties between the suspect and the CEO, then whole new theories can emerge.

Wait, Maryland has Republicans in the House of Delgates still? I thought they'd all been voted out, especially in Baltimore County.
I don't anything about this rep, but I'll let y'all know if there is anything potentially tying him to the person of interest besides blood.
I think the rise of independent journalism will help turn the tide. With the legacy media losing its grip on the public, I think more journos will experience their own awakening and understand the damage that's been caused by the network's group think mentality. Think of Matt Taibbi and the others who worked on the Twitter Files. The second they dared to commit acts of journalism their colleagues turned on them. Now they are truthseekers too. It's been fun to watch.
What little I saw of her after she left FNC, she had become infected by the liberal hive mind, much like S.E. Cupp. It's why Catherine Herridge leaving Fox and going to CBS always had my respect, because she remained an unbiased journalist. Granted, CBS fired her for daring to keep her integrity, but she is one of the few journos I trust. As far as Camarata, just one less voice in the echo chamber.
Heard it in real time with my husband. He has been torn on the Gaetz nom because he's worried the ethics charges might be true. I showed him the Hemingway article someone reposted from 2022 about Gaetz, and between that and this exchange between her and Gowdy I think he now sees that the Gaetz pick was the way to go.
BTW, nice dig by Mollie at Trey about getting someone to "do something" about corruption after all the years he made noise in Congress with nothing to show for it.
If nothing else, more people are now aware of how the swamp operates right under our noses. Think of all the normies that reached out to their senators when that list leaked earlier in the week demanding to know why they were siding with Thune or Cornyn. In elections past this was either accepted as the norm or overlooked entirely. Now Thune will be relentlessly hounded any time he does anything contrary to POTUS' wishes, not just by anons, but by normie conservatives. We are the news now. 😁
The school has "temporarily removed" the teacher. The letter they put out is the very definition of minimizing criminal behavior. It was "a private video only intended for her Snapchat group." Luckily for the children and families, libs are stupid.
The Department of Education cannot end soon enough.
In addition to the others mentioned, Real Clear Politics has Rs at 217 and Ds at 209. The difference between RCP and DD is RCP called CO-08 as a GOP flip (NBC also called CO-08). Assuming Begich hangs on in AK, that gets the Rs to 218.
HOWEVER...word is Trump is tapping Elise Stefanik for UN ambassador, and NY holds a special election to fill her seat. There is absolutely no wiggle room here.
The new senator-elect from PA was on Maria Bartiromo's show this morning, and it sounds like the incoming senators do get to vote. Not sure if that's correct, but huge if true. Here's the full episode, but he's interviewed in the first segment.
I am not a frequent contribtor here, and I only learned yesterday of your mom's passing. I had the pleasure of speaking with her through here, and I know how much she loved you. My deepest condolences to you and your family. The world is a better place because of Alina, and I'm privileged to have known her, even if it wasn't in person.
When I first started lurking here, I was so struck by both the civility and most everyone's calm demeanor. I always chuckle when I see rules on other message boards that say "keep it civil!" because it's seldom adhered to. It was so different from The Donald/Patrots.win. Come for the serenity, stay for the red pills!
Wow, was busy for a few hours, and come back to find I've been stickied. Thank you all for your kind words. Ready to see what the next four years bring. More importantly, ready to see what else needs to be done.
Love you all!
I did come back to the battlefield, in anon form 😊. Been trying to redpill the RINOs in MD the last two years, but so many are stuck in perpetual victimhood. Thanks to what I've learned here and the strength your knowledge has provided, I will never retreat again!
This. Also, I think exit polling is uses for projections, but I live in the middle of this idiocracy and could have told you this would happen with no polling needed.
Good news - there's still a chance to flip MD-6 back to red (western MD turned blue when they were gerrymandered in with part of Montgomery County).
Even better news - that corpulent RINO Hogan lost. If the margin of victory for Alsobrooks holds at 11-12%, I'll sleep well knowing the few, proud, MAGA Marylanders who did not vote for him were the difference.
No, he only cleared committee. Unlike Rubio who was unanimous, Hegseth eeked through 14-13.
