This is so true. I often think of the 70's as my personal "perfect time.' I had the best childhood in the world, the best parents, and life was so fun. But in retrospect I can see that the evil already had a major foot hold. But at least most people still believed in things that are now "right wing extreme." And if they didn't, THEY were the ones afraid to say what they really thought because they didn't want to be outcasts. People said Merry Christmas, believed in God, believed that men and women were inherently different and that the differences were a good and holy thing. Whatever they thought about abortion they knew it was a tragedy, not something to celebrate. What a weird world it has become, in such a short time.
It really is starting to feel like professional wrestling with the trash talk and all.

I saw an interview on Twitter with Tim Ballard thanking Carlos Slim for funding. I was a bit surprised will try to find it and link.
That is so scary. We had a similar story with my two boys and the next door neighbor girls. We lived in a very family populated neighborhood where all the kids within walking distance walked to school. At 8:45 there were droves of kids walking down the street together. My sons and the girls next door walked together - 4 kids. One day, a car slowed down with two men in the front, and asked the kids if they wanted a ride. Thankfully my oldest who was still in grammar school at the time just said "RUN!!!" And they all did. He was afraid to tell me about it because he didn't want me to worry. One of the mom's in the neighborhood told me and he confirmed. I still have post traumatic stress thinking about what could have happened.

We are winning the Information War because they "cry Q" the same way the boy cried wolf. Except in their case, them calling something debunked is almost like a fact check.
I was just thinking this. We are now just watching the whole thing unfold. It's hard to remember now but in the early days we were all really looking for validation that what we were putting together was real. No one here really seems to be questioning anymore.
