If I had to guess I'd say the excess kidney failures are directly related to Remdesivir protocols the hospitals were using. Really puts into perspective how many people they harmed with it, and of course they hide behind it being "non-covid related"
I think it's still accurate because even if the passport is just a piece of paper, it wasn't the first step of the process. Just like getting the vaccine you need to go somewhere or schedule an appointment for a passport; either way an effort has to be made to acquire them, they aren't handed out. So regardless of whether you're going to get a passport, go to the doctor, or to the DMV for voter ID, it would be disingenuous to differentiate any of those steps due to racism or privilege
