They'll suppress inconvenient results. Lie about their findings. Corrupt their control group. Bypass safeguards. Wink and nudge the sycophants at the FDA, and they'll approve it with no comment session from the public.

This is the new normal.

Yes. We know. We've always known. Now what is going to be done about it? Because that's all that really matters at this point. We can shout about this from the rooftops until we die. If no action is going to be taken on it, it's all moot.

This moron has just fully accepted a reality in which routine booster shots are just the new normal. Not an ounce of independent thought there. Hasn't even occurred to him that he can just not take a booster. So sad... And these people think we're crazy.

It's a self-published "book" that doesn't actually exist to scam people out of money by taking advantage of their fear and panic.

Check your chart increments. It hit 175 for literally a minute then came back down hard. You need to set your chart to 5 or 1 minute increments to see the spike.

Next year: CA reports a record high percentage of HS graduates.

They report 95% vaccinated. It is actually unknown what percentage is actually vaccinated.

It's not the airlines; it's the FAA. They all need to comply... Or rather, make you comply.

Okay, not going to flip my shit on you like everyone else.

The Novavax one WOULD probably be the safest of all of the ones you listed. It's a subunit vaccine that contains the spike protein harvested from actual coronavirus and purified so it cannot become virulent. It doesn't trick your body into making spike proteins or anything like that. It is the actual antigen. So once you're body fights it off, that's it. It doesn't contain any genetic material from the virus, so you would still be getting partial antibodies.

Now the issue here is that the Novavax vaccine is not EUA here, and won't be available. It also will likely not be accepted by the university.

That being said, I'd have your daughter hold off and start her career first. Unless she's going to be jumping right into an executive position, the Masters degree will not do much to help her at this point anyway.

Well. Once the fox gets in, you're going to have to accept that you're going to lose some chickens. It's simply impossible to save them all.

This museum is really awesome. I went there with my wife during our honeymoon.

Republicans lost control of the House in 2018. A lot harder to govern without Congress. More compromises need to be made.

Stopped feeling it a long time ago. I want to see it. The next 8 weeks will be uneventful and disappointing.

The first Matrix had numerous references to Alice in Wonderland. Actually, it was basically the primary correlation to Neo leaving the Matrix. This is just a continuation of that theme.

It's pretty insane if you think about it... In the first 90-days on Apr. 30, of 42,086 participants, 1,223 of them had a fatal outcome. Contrast that to COVID deaths in the US as of Apr. 30: 596,438 deaths out of 33,128,880 cases.

The rate of deaths from COVID (which we know is inflated) was only 1.8%. The rate of deaths in the vaccine study was 2.9%!!!!

I don't even know what to say to this.

Keep in mind, this is the first batch... This is effectively the thing they thought would be the easiest to explain away. It very likely that future batches will have even more horrible things.

He's going to try to say that it was his "character" and not him. Because in his mind it absolves him of the responsibility for his actions. He's going to make the claim that he's such a good actor that when he's on set, he becomes the character and ceases to be himself.

This is my really stupid take on what he's saying... But this guy is such a narcissist that I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be the case.

Right, but think of it from his perspective. He believes it boosts the immune system. That's why I can understand his "why," even though I disagree with it.

So, basically, the per-capita death rate for 0-19 is 3 in 100k... Yet we must vaccinate every one of our kids.

I have a very good friend who is extremely smart, but he's very liberal, who is vaccinating his kids. One of them is immunocompromised, so I get the rationale there. But what strikes me is the casualness with which he talks about vaccinating his kids.

When he says "my kids are getting their second shot this week" he does so with the same tone that I tell my wife "I gave our son Ibuprofen for his fever." I really hope his kids don't have any adverse reactions... But the lack of even the curiosity about how bad it could be for his kids is baffling to me.

He doesn't even need to run for Congress. If the Republicans take the majority in the House, they can select Trump as Speaker. The Speaker of the House does not need to be a member of Congress. It can be anyone.
