That yellow and blue theme did assault the eyes.

Yeah, it isn't a perfect solution.

Some will have to remain.

Maybe there could be a sponsorship program where a real American citizen could be responsible for one or more.

Pardon me for a heartless, insensitive opinion...

Put yourself in our shoes.

Our country was grabbed from behind and forced to its knees for many outrageous injustices, while the people who should have prevented it were involved in the doing of it.

OUR COUNTRY WAS ALMOST STOLEN FROM US

Now is not the time for civility. Now is the time for justice.

Pick the point in time where the current interpretation of the fourth amendment began. Mark it in stone.

Every single man, woman and child granted access to our country illegally from that point on must leave the country immediately.

The can go wherever they choose or we can choose for them. They won the lottery for a while, but now the game is over.

Hear me now and believe me later:

I predict the Supremes will go against President Trump on this. The vote will be 4-5.

This will lead to..."the military is the only way".

Hang on to your lilly pads. They're going to turn up the swamp.

AI will wipe out 50% of lawyers, consultants, and finance professionals...

I'm of two minds about this.

No way to know.

Attitude and determination (and some luck - right place at the right time) got me on the way. I had some certifications and a small amount of experience but nothing that proved I could do the job.

Company had an employee leaving for another job and I just happened to walk in the door during his last week's notice.

Pieces on a chessboard, we are.

Endeavor to persevere fren.

At one point in my life I had a similar situation to yours. Worked in IT (Network Systems Engineer). Company added four new people to our team paying them more for less experience (one of them was embarrassingly useless). No promotion path at the time. What did I do?

I took a deep breath and quit - went into a completely different field making less money per hour but almost unlimited hours were available. Worked my way up into being an independent contractor. Retired out of that life twenty one years later.

Hard work, long hours. Immense satisfaction. Totally worth it.

There is a reason things are the way they are. Change is coming. God is in control.

Nice to see a good looking woman without tattoos holding her rifle.

They are becoming few and far between and highly sought after.

I used to know many. They had their issues but at least weren't self-disfigured.

None of us in October 17 could have foreseen it taking this long.

At that very time my life changed in very significant ways. I look back on it now as one of the great cross roads of my life.

All glory to God. I am alive for just this time.

As an aside (tl;dr metaphysical stuff)

I've watched quite a few near death experience (NDE) videos (h/t u/brain-dead) and some of them involve a review of why the life being lived was chosen by the NDE observer.

It goes something like before being born you are shown various life situations and you are allowed to choose what situation to experience as your next life.

Therefore, I (with the help of God or his designee) chose (or was led) to be here right at this time typing with my frens.

Blows my mind!
