Like I can buy say a .308 and wait 3 months for it to clear. after 3 months i can buy another .308 with no wait period. But. Even though i now own 2 .308's If i wanted to buy a .223 i would have to wait 3 months again because i never owned a .223 before. But after i get that first .223 i can buy other .223s with no wait period. And where as before you just had to sit a simple safety test. Which was to prove you knew how to handle a gun without killing yourself or the person next to you. It was so simple, if you couldn't pass, you shouldn't have a gun. Because to fail, you would have to be just plain retarded and would probably kill yourself or some poor bastard within 5 minutes of picking it up. Now you have to do a safety course. One nice surprise.
