Thanks, new arrival here feeling sort of like an Irish immigrant fresh off the boat with all my worldly possessions in a bag and a few quid in my pocket. I don't intend to eulogize it, but VOAT was in interesting place. I was there ONLY because Q directed us there after the REDDIT debacle.
VOAT's strength -- the ability to post and say anything -- was also it's curse; and because of that, shills, bots, retards of all kinds, and juvenile pranksters were allowed to run free. It was sort of like trying to listening to a very serious and intellectual lecture while wild savages ran around the place screaming and snatching things from the audience.

You are precisely correct. My theory is that Voat served 2 purposes:
it was a repository for all Pizzagate and Q-related research to be used for future purposes, possibly prosecutorial.
As you alluded - basic training. There are thousands of us now who have spent as long as 4.2 years falling down the rabbit hole and understanding The Plan enough to be able to evangelize and educate others when the big reveal happens.
I am sad to see Voat go into the wastebasket of history. Now onto the next phase.
So many of us backed up a lot of what was shared and stored there. Technically, the site may be down, but nothing really dies, so to speak. We're going all over the place now, and that was the whole point from the beginning, as you stated. Now, there's work to be done. We'll need a safehouse somewhere to start the same process over and over again until free speech truly wins out over all.
I would definitely have to agree with your assessment. Our knowledge of topics and research skills were honed. We were prepared to intellectually debate and communicate the issues while at the same time we learned to navigate the hostility and stupidity so as to not waste valuable time and resources. VOAT prepared us well for the next phase that lies ahead.

I'm new here from Voat also. I only lurked there, only posting occasionally, more so recently. I'm also on poal, which seems to be more in line with the free speech part of Voat.
I actually never knew this place existed until people were suggesting new places to relocate. I lurk sometimes on thedonald, as I did before it left reddit, but never saw any posts about Q so I just assumed it wasn't allowed, which was off-putting to me. This place and thedonald seem to be the best of both worlds.
It's just nice to have a place to read about and discuss the coming Q related happenings that's not twitter.
I loved voat for what it was. Definitely an acquired taste, but for a while it was the premier place for Q discussion (and of course /QRV specifically was sanctioned by Q themselves). The best thing about voat was that the community stuck to their core values until the end and didnt change for anyone. If you wanted to be a part of the voat community you had to "do as the Romans do" so to speak, and if you did then the rewards were plentiful. I'm sure that our new friends from voat will appreciate that this .win will also stick to it's core values and not change for anyone (even if they are slightly different and intended for a slightly different audience).

Voat QRV and theawakening always attracted a ton of low-info and low IQ trolls. I believe some of them have already started to try their b.s. in .win. It was a lot of racist stuff and adolescent insults. There was no deport option there so the kids could run rampant.
