Interesting in light of the fact that Trump danced with Melania at his inauguration ball to Frank Sinatra's song "I Did It My Way" And left on AF1 to the same song blaring out over the tarmac on the morning of the 20th.
It is amazing how something so random can stimulate a thought process for possible understanding of a current situation.
Summer School- What do you think of when you hear that?
I’ve never gone to summer school nor have I known anyone who has so I cannot speak from experience.
But my impression of it is that it is a kind of quiet behind the scenes sort of affair.
It is not the normal process but it gets the job done and fulfills the original goal.
Just some food for thought. We do know for certain that our President is not just fading off into the sunset.
Yes! Today I thought about what we have learned about the stamina, enthusiasm, attitude and spirit from GEOTUS! I think it is time to step up and follow his example! Even if elections are void and corrupted, it would be time for a third party of patriots which will show that it is about the people and not about any leader who could vanish in seconds. WE THE PEOPLE HAVE TO STEP UP AND TRUST IN GOD!!!
And I love Trump and hope that he will be back soon!!!
Ha Ha. I do the same thing. I watch old movies that I've already seen so I will fall asleep. If I look at something I haven't seen I'm up to the end. As for Trump, I'm hoping that one of his favorite movie lines is, "I'll be back."
While taking a semester off between college & a deployment, I read 'The Creature from Jekyll Island' in ~2 days. I was enthralled, though after reading incessantly for hours on day 1 I had to put it down because I had a strange 'vision' of an immeasurable line of destitute people waiting in line to enter a towering desolate fortress which ran the world by their control of gold...
It shook me to the core, I was terrified, & I have not forgotten that day (it's been over a decade). I believe that it was a glimpse of what would to come pass if they were not stopped...

for me (30 year old guy), for a movie to be old it has to be from 1960 or earlier
grew up with mostly 1940s era movies. my dad goes to classic movie festivals every year... so that's probably why i have that definition
