My theory is that they've done this because they know these greedy ass hedge funds will be begging for bailouts, which gives the Xiden administration an ultimatum.
Either they bailout the companies and it further redpills people because they still havent received the 'promised' $2,000 stimulus but the gov is now spending billion to protect stock manipulators. People will be pissed.
Or, the Xiden administration doesnt bail them out and we watch one of the largest redistributions of wealth in modern history, all without a drop of communism.
