Each ex-President has the right but not the obligation to request TFRs when they are in residence. He did not ask for it to be extended. Therefore it is not a marker for him. He may have wanted that so he could come and go as he pleases or it may have been because MaraLago is in the flight path of the local airport. Sometimes planes are so loud at MaraKago that you can’t hear someone speak. He may not have wanted to piss the locals off more than they were already pissed. Either way the TFR is not germane.
