I was talking to my wife last night about this. This is my thought on how it will likely progress. POTUS is all about giving people chances to do the right thing and wants to exhaust every legal effort, which we know will inevitably let him down. His team will present evidence at the impeachment hearing, he’ll end up being acquitted but they don’t have the authority to change the result of the election. This puts pressure on SCOTUS to hear the cases and do the right thing. I think SCOTUS once again let’s him down and denies to hear the cases. He gave everyone the information and the ability to do the right thing. The only way left is the military, who’s been waiting on POTUS’ ok to move forward. They end up being the only way and we end up with our version of Myanmar. This leaves POTUS as neutral but the end result is he ends up in charge. When he takes back the control, who knows, but this seems logical and what would likely happen. If not, Biden stays in charge until he dies or they find him unfit (25th amendment) and we’re good and fucked. But I have hope, I don’t believe this sham will go on much longer.
