Don't take this clown show as a lesson in impeachment. This is a joke and way outside the bounds of Constitutional specifications. In a normal process, the actual impeachment occurs in the House. They vote on Articles of Impeachment by simple majority. The Senate then conducts the trial and votes to convict or acquit by a two thirds majority. If convicted, the President is kicked out of office and disqualified from holding any Federal office again. This current process is a sham because the person being tried is not even in office supposedly.
I want to see Trump get acquitted and then have him come out and announce that the election was a fraud and that the storm is upon us. Then have the military step up to the microphone and state that they, after all judicial avenues refused to review the election fraud, have done so and will prosecute those who cheated in Military tribunals. Then let the arrests begin and the dancing in the streets!!
Well they didn’t stick around long enough to drop the serious hammers. Why not show the evidence no one was killed at the capitol? Why not bring up the facts on election fraud to show that if Trump had called patriots there to take back the country that there was valid reason to do so, even though he never advocated violence. They claimed that there were armed Trump supporters there yet I never saw any evidence of that. Had Trump actually wanted a million armed people there to bleed the tree of liberty then they wouldn’t be there to whine about it.

They're focusing on the single charge of the impeachment: did President Trump incite violence? Anything else argued today distracts from that mission.
