But, really... I'm surprised how many people don't know about this great feature on modern smart phones which most browsers support.
Here's how to add an app-like button for GA.win to your home screen on
Android:
- open up greatawakening.win in your favorite mobile browser.
- tap the 3-dot menu button
- select Add to home screen
Safari on iOS:
- open up greatawakening.win
- tap the share button
- select the Add to Home Screen option (I'm not sure if Chrome on iOS supports this feature, yet)
This will put a GA.win icon on your home screen. It wraps the website up like an app and treats it independently of your browser so you don't need to open it up in a web page and maintain the tab.

Ah there it is. Don’t toy with my emotions like that.
On iOS, this works great. It seriously works like any other app and doesn't just open a webpage in safari. I've been using it exclusivity for months. For both GA and TD, it also has great icons (at least on iOS). PS - This also works great for gab, bitchute, and ruqqus.
My only complaint is that navigation is mostly forward only, as in there is no back button.
What phone do you have? My iPhone XR let’s me swipe my screen to the right to go back regardless.

I made a 3D game app. It consists of two 3D photos where you find the differences. Had to use 3D Max and Maya.
It’s a web app.
I tried GA and Gab and it works perfectly but it’s not working for bitchute as far as acting as an actual app.

It creates a bookmark link from your DuckDuckGo browser so all your DuckDuckGo settings will be the same. If you also allow DuckDuckGo to save your account and login passwords it will auto sign in for you.
I have a homepage link for 3 different Win Forums on my phone as quick links instead of switching between them.
Edit: I also replaced most of my news and shopping apps, like Amazon, with these bookmark links so I can avoid those apps from raping my privacy.

Only issue I have, is that there is no “back button” to navigate back to the Home Page... it’s annoying to click on the top to go back to the beginning...
That's if ypu have your control menu set to hide. Ypu can make them permanent in your phone settings but I value the extra screen space.
Not complaining because it’s a miracle that this site exists at all, but one minor quibble with the method described above. I still use the regular browser method because even if you use the “app,” it still redirects you to the browser every time you click on a link. If there is a way to keep that webpage in the “app” it would be perfect.
As it stands right now, when I go to clean up at the end of the week, I find that I have 20+ instances of great awakening open, haha, and 20+ webpages open too.
Interesting. are you on iOS? I use Brave (Chromium) on android and it opens webpages within the "app".

I’m on IOS. I just checked it and it looks like they may have fixed it - as long as I don’t have an official app installed for the linked webpage, it looks like it stays in the “app.” My mistake.

the site isn't great on iphone, back and forward buttons are disabled.

This works great and have used this since joining. However on iOS, how do you remove the icon?
I've been doing this since I first found GA.win but one question. The bottom bar (including the back button) automatically hides itself. Is there some setting i'm missing that shows that bottom bar all of the time? I hate swiping up to show the bar solely to hit the back button.
Ok for me u go to my settings, click "display" and then there is a "hide home touch buttons."

Your android settings can set it to lermanent but you lose a little screen space. Let me find out exactly how for you.

I’ve been using this for a while, the only flaw it has is that sharing the URL to a post becomes more convoluted as you have to select email or something and then copy the url link.
I've mine as my home page when I go into chrome so just saves me a step
