George News is an news org that claims to have a special connection to Trump/Military, as well as possible ties to JFK Jr’s original George Magazine.
Evspra did some digging and found that there are many reasons not to trust George News, just like the mods have done for several Telegram accounts etc. Evspra pointed out their connection with paper.li, their previous names, and their owners. Said we shouldn’t just blindly trust this suspicious site that popped out of no where. Called them paytriots.
Evspra then went on to ban posts that used George News Telegram/etc as sources (there were a lot of them, but mostly just posts about the George News YouTube chats, and other telegram shit). People took it personally when he burned their hopium stash. Started calling him names and shit. Evspra, someone who has already tried leaving several times, took this as his exit...... FOR NOW (I hope)
Edit: For some added context, Evspra confronted George News and asked them about their connection to dvidshub and why they were using videos/pictures from dvidshub and implying them as their own/exclusive (to further bolster their military/Trump connection). When he did this he was promptly banned. Since then, George News has kind of been in panic mode and has started deleting messages over the past few days and claiming that their “bots” were “accidentally” removing people
Evsrpa went down a bad dig, came out of it hot and made bad assumptions which triggered a sizable percentage of the community to go full hive mind accepting information as fact and belittling dissenters.
He went into the conversation with George News asking why they stole content from a publicly available free stock resource multiple times and got banned.. Then came back here and used being banned as proof that they stole content (its a free stock resource). Then sent a ton of people to repeat the same exact thing and used them being banned as more proof. The rest of the proof threads articulated how marketing websites work and made connections that weren't relevant and used that as more proof. Basically they think because GN uses a web service which is owned by a parent company that focuses on analytics which is also used by WEF is proof that GN is nefarious. I hope you can see the flawed logic in that.
Evspra defended all of it without question and banned/ridiculed anyone who said otherwise.

Now I'm really going out towards the end of the limb but some folks, Imma say 'redditors or redditor-like' folks, decided their feelz were hurt, because they luvs them some George. But the very little I looked at it, Evspra is correct.
Other than that I have no clue, it seems to me to be redditor feelz versus reality, as usual.

Pointing out odd behavior in our community or trying to add some rational thoughts shouldn't be met with downvotes or gnashing teeth. Another oddity for me is how he and many accounts claim that they were insta-banned from George's chat the moment they posted something about the dvids site, yet I literally quoted a line the Evspra told us to quote and pasted it in the George chat and have not been banned.
Following Evspra's departure, many accounts are all like "my mod god is gone~~" or "Evspra if you can see this come back~~~". Many of these accounts keep puffing up Evspra like he's some kind of .win messiah. What's interesting to me is how despite seeing comments like this, the guy never put down that personality cult type of talk. Even this post leads into this. Didn't Q tell us not to worship him? Why would we do such a thing for a mod?

They have no contact info, liaison, or point of contact if you want to reach them. This is not a behavior or a good mod. In fact this type of behavior should be grounds for instant dismissal. Yet here we have a large section here celebrating this mod.
