The Colorado congresswoman suggested at the town hall that she had insider knowledge of the conspiracy theory, which claims that secret documents declassified in the final days of the Trump administration will bring down his enemies.
The theory, which would see Republicans gain control the House and Senate before the 2022 elections, has been pushed by the right-wing Epoch Times.
“I want to tell you, I heard from someone who is in very close contact with President Trump and the ins and outs of the White House under that administration,” she said.
“They talked to the owners of the Epoch Times and they said don’t change anything, you are right over the target.
“So anyone who tries and tells you that this is a fringe newspaper. Don’t listen to them. I have very good sources that tell me this is very good information. Is it 100 per cent? I don’t know but it’s very good information.
“We all know that there was information that was declassified just a few days before President Trump left office.
“I know someone who is involved in declassifying that. This person is getting very tired of waiting on the DOJ to do something about it.”
Epoch Times is a great weekly paper. If you purchase a sub you get the digital free. They have wonderful Mind and Body. I also like the Life and Tradition section.
I live outside the States, so I only get the digital version. I look at it sometimes, not a lot, but I'm so happy to invest my 1 coffee per month, because Epoch Times is the real deal in a world full of utter, corrupt charlatans.

It's also well researched, and fair. Not in a "we report the occasional devil's advocate to appear unbiased" way, I mean fair in a "we're reporting what's happening, not telling you what to think" and "editorials are clearly marked as such" sort of way.
And it's not just politics - at AngelCole mentioned, they have everything you would expect from a newspaper, including great Lifestyle and Health sections.

The Left/Right problem is both simple and complex. For me, the key thing is to understand the origins of the Left/Right scism, and while politically (historically) it can be traced back to the Left Court and the Right Court at the French Parliament, spiritually or metaphysically, it traces back to the Left Thief and the Right Thief with Christ at the time of the Cross.
The left thief mocked Christ, rejected God's perspective, and the right thief spoke up for him, admitted his own guilt and the guiltless nature of Jesus' 'crimes', and adopted God's perspective. (God's view is that Jesus was guiltless, right?)
But this also goes back further. Theologically, one can say that Left and Right represent Cain and Abel, or Esau and Jacob.
Cain killed Abel, although he had a chance to work with Abel and learn from him. This was God's purpose in their two offerings. Same possibility existed at the time of Esau and Jacob, but whereas Esau wanted to kill Jacob, Jacob went the long haul, worked his ass off in Canaan, then came back home and gave half his profits to Esau, and humbled himself to Esau. He won Esau's heart and Esau melted and recognized Jacob, instead of killing him.
These two brothers can be understood to represent relative evil and relative good. If Relative Evil can unite with Relative Good, then the base for evil is erased. (Jacob became the ancestor from whose line Jesus was born.) The Left represents the Cain-type and the right represents the Abel type. Neither is faultless, or sinless, but the cain-type side is susceptible to evil motivations: violence, anger, murder. (Abel-side susceptible to lack of care, arrogance or self-worship.)
Originally, both sides - left hand and right hand, should work in cooperation to serve the mind, the heart. But Evil will almost always attack to undermine using the Left, because of the historical situation and their predilection to emotional anger, resentment, and then violence.
Both Left side and Right side in politics should serve the People, and work to both cooperate (if it helps the people) or keep the other accountable (so that they help the people). This is what should happen when they share the correct, principled (God-given) purpose: to serve the People. But when God is removed, they both begin to serve themselves.
Left becomes militant, murderous Leftism, sacrificing even the people they say they want to help. The Right, if they abandon the higher God-given purpose, become Opportunistic Oligarchs, the rule of corporatism, money,, like the RINOs today.
Many on the Left - not ideologically, but in sympathy - are there because they care about the left-out, or downtrodden, or reject the fake and corrupt Corporatism, that sacrifices the left-out and downtrodden for $$$$.
Both sides MUST return to the original purpose, to including God, or at least the God-given purpose, to serve the People above all. Only then do they - both of them - return to Sanity.
