Every USN ship has a 4-letter callsign that starts with N. CVN-69 EISENHOWER nickname is IKE. N+IKE. Ships that I served on had callsigns NGXF, NPGC, NWAR, and 1 other one that I cant remember anymore because that was back in the 1970s.
