She wasn't subject to US jurisdiction. She was subject to the jurisdiction of her parents, who were subject to the jurisdiction of the country they came from.
Nope THAT is the wrong interpretation of the law, which was created for former slaves during Reconstruction. The SCOTUS ahas gotten it wrong many times...

Man. It's like people don't listen in civics class or they're intentionally fucking up out system. ONLY natural born US Citizens are eligible. That means both of your parents HAVE TO BE CITIZENS and you have to be born in the US or a US territory.

Anyone born within the jurisdiction of the United States is by definition a natural born citizen regardless of parents status.
A few recent cases such as Ankey vs Governor and Strunk vs New York State Board of Elections reaffirms this.

Wrong cite used; Minor vs Happersett (1875) is Supreme Court precedent that a NBC must be born of two (2) US citizen parents. She may be considered a "citizen" but is not a natural born citizen. She is therefore ineligible for the office of VP or POTUS. BTW; so was Obama.
