I actually don't see why people are ashamed at the comments. Most of the idiots claiming "racism" are being verbally beaten down by people standing up to them and they have high likes to boot. WOW- great letter from Gutman and brave too because after this letter, his daughter will likely not be accepted into any of the top flight Manhattan private schools. Sad but true that the elitist liberals do not like to be called out on their bullshit. It would be fabulous if other parents jumped on his bandwagon but I doubt they will.

As an unfortunate side effect to all the beautiful positives of our great state, the housing market in Florida is being driven out of the price range of Floridians recieving Floridian wages. I know TOO MANY locals struggling to compete with "Northern" bids to find ANY single family housing here. I welcome like minded people fleeing oppressive dictatorships, but pray our wages increase commensurably.

How these leftist destroyers get into leadership positions across ALL segments of our society is somewhat a mystery to me. It seems that it must be Satan's doing, because ability, skills, hard work, honesty, and morality certainly don't explain it.
Apathy. I'm from Austin. The people have bitched for years the direction Austin has been going. I'm talking all the way back to at least the 80s when I was old enough to start paying attention. But when it comes to getting out to vote, the turn outs are abysmal, then they bitch bitch bitch when the lil commies start turning shit up side down. Rinse repeat rinse repeat. The ONLY way this country works, and was envisioned to work by The Founders, was for the people to be engaged and vote. For the first time in history, they had created a complete system that the people were in full control, much more than Rome/Greece/etc. So if the people don't get out and exercise their right to vote, or stand by while votes are stolen, then they have no freedom and they have no country. And we're really starting to see those results of apathy now on a mass scale. The commies are beholden, they control almost all facets of power in society, and they are wielding that axe with impunity. It's up to US.
I'm in a townhouse complex with 52 units. We have an annual meeting to decide how the association money will be spent, and we have a hard time getting more than 12 homeowners represented at the meeting! Only six to eight people, other than the 4 board of directors members, will physically come to a meeting, and a handful of proxy votes added to that. It's pretty pitiful that people don't even care how their own money is spent, at as local a level as you can get! It's no wonder voter turnout is so low for elections; people are just content to let whoever is in power do whatever they want with their tax money!

Remember, the group mentality of New York City residents, in regard to standing up for what is right, was on full display back in the 1960's when a woman was murdered in public (Kitty Genovese?), while screaming for help, for quite a long time, and NOBODY tried to help. I'm not even sure if anyone called the police in a timely manner. It's a classic story of how a population can be cowered into complacency, fulfilling the theme depicted in H.G. Wells "The Time Machine", where the Morlocks would provide for the people's survival, in exchange for them volunteering to be provided as food? for the Morlocks, resulting in a society with no joy or care for their lives or the lives of others. (sorry if I'm badly paraphrasing what happened in the Time Machine, but it has been a long time since I saw the original movie (not the remake :) )
