The public school system is irreparably broken. As far as people can, and as bit by bit it has to happen to accommodate everyone's individual circumstances, pulling the kids out is the only option. The vast majority contingent would have to start with home-school, but gradually, collective community schooling could start to be built up, and from there, new 'for purpose' schools can emerge with the infrastructure they should have, just free from Marxist filth and evil. Again I emphasise, I'm not saying 'do this now', I'm saying if those who can start the ball rolling, that'll be the first few steps of the movement taken, and then it can grow organically from there, taking as much time as necessary. It's the only way, you are not going to reform the existing system, not a chance in hell.

It's not broken; it's corrupt in it's inception. The idea of the state being involved in the education of it's citizens is an abomination in and of itself. It's a pity the founders didn't envision it.

This. This is the only option. Take the money out of the pockets of these educational bureaucrats and administrations. Defund and disband the teacher's unions. They're the biggest thing standing in the way of educational progress. Look at how much of a stink they raised when talks of sending the kids back to school was going on. More money for police, but only after reforming all govn't paid prosecutors who won't prosecute criminals or let them go with just a stern warning and a get out of jail free card.
My mom used to work in an inner city (13 years) she finally left because the positive change she was making with her children the school didn’t want to lose the funding for having under preforming kids. They suppressed her good ideas and made it harder for her changes to go school wide. She is not in a county school and she is making waves in her first year!

I am curious to see what the school system will look like once the fake biden admin is finally removed. All of my grandchildren are homeschooled, and I am grateful for this. For too many years our public education system was weaponized against us. Not sure what the future of public education will be.

The Catholic church in my neighborhood was forced to close its school due to lack of money. The parents got together and were able to work out a lease for the school , hire teachers and are now extremely involved with their children's education. My guess is these students will do very well in the future
I agree and the fact that we are taxed to fund a government system that a lot of us conservatives (and even wealthy liberals) don’t even use and then that system uses our money to indoctrinate generations of future voters to hate us and America, well...that boils my blood! Give me my tax payer money in the form of a voucher so I can send my kid to any private school of my choosing.
