Somebody here a few weeks back posted stories about celebs trying to dump their big real estate spreads. Rosie O'Donnell sold a NY spread at a loss. Jerry Seinfeld, Tom Cruise trying to bail out of Telluride.
Truly wonder if they're getting low on cash and this is the harbinger of a very high end real estate market crash. Cruise's spread was listed for $40 mil.

It wouldn't surprise me. He's been quoted as saying he has no place commenting on politics just for the fact that he's an actor. He's one of very few who are actually so down to earth that he acknowledges he has no right to talk down to the rest of us just because he's a celebrity. He's one of my favorite actors, still to this day (he and Jon Voight, Vince Vaughn - the good ones).
What's the low down on Malchovic? I always liked him.
There have been rumors out there about him being a conservative, but he's always dismissing them. Also, he used to be roommates with Gary Sinise, if that helps.

I was done with the Oscars years ago, along with every other awards show. It’s just too sad to watch these smug self-righteous people congratulate themselves, exulting in their political correctness, trying to outdo each other’s pretend virtue while they heap scorn upon their audience. No thank you. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that the least moral, least together group of people on the planet presume to tell us flyover folks, whom they deeply despise, what to think. They pretend for a living, and their opinions, like their accolades, do not matter at all. I'm glad the ratings tanked.

Understandable mistake. Tough to differentiate Hollywood's self-congratulatory award shows, especially when you don't care, don't know most of the people involved, and despise the ones you do know.
