Symptoms started 8 days ago. Mild temperature of 100 for about a day. Upset stomach and associated physical side effects for 3 days. Mild chest congestion began on the 2nd day and is almost gone. I was sneezing quite a bit on days 5 and 6, but the sniffles have cleared up, too. Went through 2 bottles of Robitussin, a bag of cough drops and about a gallon of OJ.
Going back to work tomorrow after working from home for a week.
Never thought I had Covid.
Did not get tested. Did not wear a mask.
Because I'm NORMAL and so was my brief illness.
Yes, but you are not virtuous. You can't go around beating your chest announcing you did battle with deadly Covid and are now fully vaccinated to show the world you're not selfish..
Right? What about the social credit score? ?
+1 for surviving Covid, +1 for first shot, +2 for second shot, 0 for anything flu related, -1 for not wearing mask, -1 for not social distancing, -2 for not following the edicts of Chairman Fauci, -3 for not eliminating all sources of news and information except those officially approved organs of the state, MSM.
Congrats on your recovery and don't get tested or vaccinated
Where the hell has common sense gone? Of course you had a cold. Did you know having a temperature as an adult is helpful because it kills off more than just the virus and protects you from more serious illnesses later. Congratulations on being normal. It’s pretty rare these days.
I recently had a similar experience. I got a really bad cold, complete with sore throat and congestion that lasted two weeks. No one else in the house got as sick as me. I was laid up for a few days, and refused to get a test. I'm not going to add to the statistics and probably be misdiagnosed.
Did the same. Fever, no taste, and felt like shit. My body was better in 1 day. Never got the test because it would obviously pick up my cold as covid. Got back to work in a day. Ain't got no time for unscientific 14 day quarantine
I've had two people with similar experiences tell me they had covid. They were not even tested. They just wanted to be a part of the drama. Covidiots.
I'd say it just for the sake of having a reason to not be vaccinated.
"No, there's no need to; I already had covid; I have the antibodies."
If someone ask me to take a vaccine I just ask one question. What's in it? Oh, you don't know? Well you can fuck right off Mr. NPC.
Yep - seen the same here. Mostly older women. It does seem that some people (who usually watch too much TV) are overly enjoying the drama of MAYBE getting sick. They seem pleased that they have (what they self define as) compromised systems, which usually consist of UNdefined maladies like headaches.
They're happily cossetting their own flesh while they carefully wear masks and tell everyone they know whenever anyone ELSE they know MIGHT have "Covie". I kid you not - they're calling it "Covie".
Saltines,Sprite, chicken soup, and Tylenol cures covid.
That's exactly what I had lol. Plus lots of tea with honey. Drinking warm fluids actually helps calm your coughs, it helped with me.
Sounds like you got shedded on lol
Had a cold this week too. Didn't bother to seek medical care (no need since first thing they want is a covid test). I took some OTC cold medicine, and that's helped. I'll be glad when our medical system goes back to rational thinking (even if there is only a slim chance).
Well done! I commend your common sense approach to a common illness.
A stop sign will test positive. I've seen no evidence of this virus period.
I've lived 29 years and never once had flu in my life. And I have an autoimmune disease. Whats the chances I will ever get COVID in the next 29 years?
Stuff your vax.
That's exactly how my covid was. Yeah I got tested and I had "covid." Covid truly is a flu strain, but no worse than any other strain that I've seen.
Yeah - the rona was like a moderate cold. Not bad at ALL, especially if you take precautions in advance. We had HCQ, zinc, D3, and C....watched a lot of movies, took some naps - darn near like a vacation.
The worst I could say about it was that I had an annoying stuffy nose for a couple of weeks. Easily dealt with.
Same here, I had some major head and nose congestion, but my cough was near non-existent, I had a LOW fever for 1/2 a day, body aches for 1 night, just tired for the rest of the days. Not that bad. At least I didn't throw up, that's something I genuinely hate.
Same thing with my wife and I. Sore throat like a mofo still. Wife’s work made her go take a Covid test. Not made. But politely asked. She did. And of course came positive for Covid. I don’t by it.
Mine started Saturday night on May 01 at 2100. Everything that was in my stomach for the last 2 years came flying out of my mouth at a high rate of speed. I'm actually amazed that the human body is capable of doing that. And then again at 2300 and again at 0030. Today is May 05 and I'm just now starting to come out of it (I think). Not a mild case of the flu. I'd say severe, most definitely.
We were told (and it worked) Pepcid once a day (no one knows why this helps...protein interference maybe?); one aspirin per day (sorry, I actually FORGET why this helps...perhaps clotting), D3 10,000; C 1000, zinc 50 to 100; HCQ twice per day for a week; antihistamines (deals with muck in lungs which is a histamine buildup); quercetin with the zinc if you can't get HCQ.
Got the HCQ from americasfrontlinedoctors.com The reason I'm telling you this is that of all the people I know who had the rona, the one that had the hardest time shaking it was the one that was hit in the stomach first and really hard. For this friend of mine it just kept coming back and finally led to pneumonia. I've heard since that this is actually a thing with this virus - that some of the more nasty cases were in people who seemed to begin with a bad case of the puking flu. Just wanted to give you a heads up in case it seems to keep coming back at you.
Sneezing is actually not a common symptom for Covid. You had something else and because you had enough vitamin D in your system your immune system took care of it.
