There was a very good reason that voting originally required land ownership. I've wondered for a long time what sort of system like that we could implement without it turning into oligarchy.
I told a neighbor several weeks ago I wouldn't take the shot. She was shocked to hear my hubby and I won't be doing so.
I just got off the phone with her since I was inviting her to a barbecue here. Before we got off the phone she mentioned that we now no longer need to wear masks... but only those who have taken the shot. I told her if her Vax works she shouldn't worry about others who didn't take it. I won't be wearing any mask nor would I need to do so if they rescind the mask mandate.
Last week I met another neighbor who was in a group I was in before COVID. We are tying to get restarted again. She will not take the Vax and told me she wouldn't participate if anyone else made a fuss about it. I told her to stand her ground.
Just because she didn't take it doesn't mean her choice is any less significant than theirs. Besides they took the VAX to protect themselves. Why should they be trying to keep us both out of the group if they took the shot? It shouldn't matter.
Being in the top 1% should be a requirement for any top government position(President/prime minister/minister/secretary of whatever etc), and being in the top 10% should be a requirement for any executive bureaucrat position......
I doubt that more than 1%(at best) of the people in these positions in the last 50 years would manage to meet this requirement(regardless of country...)
It should also be illegal for any politician to have an hourly wage above the most common hourly wage in their country(no exceptions)...
I still prefer the "one household" rule; this is inclusive of property-owners, which would exclude most people on welfare, and people who don't fall above the minimum tax-bracket.
