Wal-Mart sells Relion brand for $24/vial. Not the fast-acting glargine-style analog, but rather the regular R, and N formulations. Been a real wallet saver for me.
Absolutely correct. Dangerous to use insulin at all unless you understand the time graph for the particular type you are using, and be careful until you know the effects on your own body.
I did that 2 months ago - with intermittent fasting 16 hours a day. My daily insulin went down from 45 units to 18 units. I also lost 10 lbs and feel vigorous and healthy.
Check out Dr Sten Eckberg on youtube he is wonderful.
100 % correct, carnivore diet along with intermittent fasting will even add additional benefits, I was pre-diabetic and a year later all bloodwork is normal
Ask her doctor if there’s any reduced prescription programs you could sign up for that would reduce your cost. We were able to do that for one of my husbands meds that was costing us nearly $400 a month. We got it for $35 for several months. Have you tried looking into those free medical cards like good rx? I have no clue if they work or not.
Good RX definitely works. The pharmacy won't pro-actively tell you about it, but once you bring it up, it usually drops significantly. Not for all drugs but at least for the meds I have to take
If it's Type 2, look up Dr. Jason Fung, a Canadian doc to get off meds by changes in diet. No carbs (no grain, no starch, no sugar), plenty of meat, dairy and vegetables, and try to fast 15 hours a day (9 pm to noon works easily for me).
I beat my diabetes diagnosis doing this. Only took a couple months to get blood sugars way down. The meds don't cure the disease, they just affect the symptoms. Changing diet habits can reverse the disease.
The sugar industry lobbyists got the government agencies to trick Americans into thinking fat was the thing to avoid, when sugar is the true poison.
Hopefully you can find insulin in the meantime. There's plenty of info on these dietary changes online. Good luck!
My father-in-law had type 2 for decades, and always cooked from the "Recipes for Diabetics" cookbook his doctor gave him - it was ALL SUGAR AND STARCH recipes.
I introduced him to Atkins (this was the 90s), and within 2 months of proper diet and exercise, he was no longer using insulin.
Sugar is so bad, it was probably an invention of the cabal ;)
I just made a suggestion. I don't know the circumstances. How dare you reprimand me.Who died and left you boss? It isn't me who asked this. Get it right.
Look into GoodRX.com. It is one of several pharmacy discount cards. There are others (search for goodrx competitors). Even with insurance, goodrx is often cheaper than my deductible. There is also https://get.patientassistanceprograms.com/ which may be able to find you assistance; at $1500/month for insulin you should qualify.

This was the only method that I was able to obtain
HGH after dying 4Xs from CHF.
Due the complications of dying my bodys systems were critical. Unable to process foods and meds I lost over 50lbs.
Unable to gain weight for over 5yrs jumping thru hoop after hoops, testing. My Dr finally prescribed HGH but my insurance balked and bailed.
Cost over $10K a month for legit HGH.
One of the company's reviewed my medical need and blessed me with ability to provide the much needed therapy so I was finally able to obtain the weight I needed to improve my overall health.
Always ask the pharmacist if there is a way to get your drug cheaper. Oftentimes they have ways to cut you a break, but they're not allowed to tell you about it -- you have to ask them.
Is it type 1 or type 2? I don't know much about diabetes but I do know of some people with type 2 who were able to get off their meds. If she's got type 2, I'll find the video for you.
Have you tried goodrx.com? They give out coupons for cash medicines that the pharmacy will honor. It also lets you compare prices between all the pharmacies in your area.
Get dog insulin from the vet. It’s the same stuff but just priced differently for dogs. Or you can order it from Canada and it’s 90% off the price, but then you would be a Communist.

You have to learn how to use this insulin. If she used fast acting insulin, you will not use this the same way.

Just go to any major city and steal it! Just make sure it's value is under $400. If so, just steal in batches. That's okay now. It is allowed.

If it's Humalog, I will ship some to you.

Can't go to Canada right now, you have to spend 14 days in quarantine and pay for it.
You can order from Canada - and it's much cheaper - you don't have to go there.
