AFAIK, this isn't right. The J and J works similarly to the mRNA "vaccines" to make the body produce spike proteins. The difference is that it uses an adenovirus to inject engineered DNA into the cell instead. Not attenuated adenovirus DNA, but DNA instructions for the spike proteins. The end result is similar to the other vaccines, the body is made to create spike proteins in our own cells.
I'm just not sure that it's weaker. It's different from a live attenuated virus which trains the immune system but can't reproduce.

As i understand it the astra vacs (based on the leaflet) is a similar delivery vector, but it needs two jabs. They used an adenovirus that was rendered incapable of spreading as a virus in its own right.
However, the mechanism for this is still the spike protein, which is what appears to be the dangerous bit.

I don't advocate for the jab at all but would the J&J actually be a safe option? I don't personally see all vaccines as bad, polio, MMR, etc.
