Then they showed how to do it in a legal and transparent way. I think just leading the way is huge. I also think that they will be done faster than they say and are being generous with their estimate. It is also imo a strategic benefit that others get well started before AZ ends.

The AZ representative explained why. During July, they will now be doing signature, voter verification of the ballots and voter integrity verification (i.e., checking if the voter is an actual AZ resident who is alive) and also there is forensics happening on the electronic equipment and data.
They expect this to be completed by about the third week of July and then three weeks to compile the complete report.
Are we now hoping all this is wrapped up by 2022 now or something? 8/21/2021 was the old date for a Trump inauguration but 8 weeks from now puts us at mid August. Unless a whole bunch of states are going to do their audits a lot faster we're not looking at a resolution until sometime next year.

Gradually is better for this. But there is one goalpost that we can't shift beyond and that is the destruction of the physical ballots.
