My daughter is a producer for a major network and deliberately didn't use "president" in the days after Jan. 6 and the anchor she writes for didn't want to say it. But TPTB sent the directive down the chain to write it and say it.
I did notice on the other channels, a former governor or senator is still called governor ...name.... or senator ...name. But for Trump they address him as former president Trump.
It’s different. Trump was actually elected. The patriotic thing to do, regardless of political affiliation, would be to support an elected president and denounce an appointed one.
I don’t refer to him as President, I won’t even capitalize his name. That pisses people off. Also joe and the hoe will earn you time in FB jail every time.

The other day Maria Bartiromo and a guest were discussing President Trump's recent statements, casually referring to him several times simply as "the president".

Whatever the fraud, Biden was installed as president the same way as every other president. Defeating an imaginary version of Biden might make you feel better but it won’t change anything in reality. Sure does seem like he’s issuing executive orders and running the government at the moment. Those are real things that will need to be undone. Everyone used to claim he wasn’t using air force one but he is. Deciding not to capitalize his name or call him president is a toothless gesture at best.
I disagree. To use the title "President" you willingly choose to Honor him. He deserves no such honor. The charade of damage he has done as a resident in the WH (like a criminal driving a stolen car) will meet his end SOON and collateral damages will be reckoned with in the aftermath along with all the other swamp creatures.

I know it seems like a hundred years ago but there were a great number of people on the left who refused to acknowledge DJT as the president, and that did nothing to change reality.
