I was watching when it happened, as soon as they were directed outside where a "supervisor" was, someone in chat warned they were going to lock them out with that antic and that is exactly what they did. Baited them out so they could lock them out.
The story doesn't matter. Who gives a fuck who reads it. The video of the event is what matters, because it establishes an official of the American Government was denied access to an American Citizen. This is no different than if I got my ass arrested in the US and a member of the British Government is denied access - I'm legally advised to ask for a lawyer and my consulate if I'm ever arrested.
This might not seem like a big deal, but it is. When middle eastern countries do this shit, tanks go through prison walls.
