I am. My symptoms were very mild and only lasted about a day. Now that you mention it, I don’t know any other smoker that has gotten it (knock on wood)
And what exactly does "pot shill" even mean? You do realize reefer madness was a huge load of propaganda right? And we're talking about a plant with tons of uses.. You're ignorance is palpable. You've clearly been around too many dumb stoners and are now just bitter of the flower in general.
Believe whatever you want m8 but chill dude, you're acting hostile and borderline delusional for no reason. Not everyone is a shill and glowie. You can see my long history here and on thedonald. Did you even look? honestly, you're the one that looks like you are trying to poison the well here and cause a divide among the users... with random hostilities over things that are in no way related to the core mission here
It's also a tool to open your mind, and consider points of view not previously know. Further CBD is now known as a wonderful medicine capable of all sorts of treatment. I know you won't agree, but there are definitely benefits.
Yeah sorry, genderbending kids are due to abusive parents, and bad influence as you mentioned, as well as high soy, low meat protein diet.
Again not really trying to change your mind but it seems like at least a few, if not many disagree with you, politely I might add, whereas you seem to be getting a bit hot.
"Cannabis is promoted heavily and zealously by pedophiles, child abusers, and enemies of the people"
I've been smoking weed, regularly since 19 or so. I don't sing it from the rooftops - it's nobody's fucking business what I do. I am aware there is much more to this plant than a nice buzz.
I'm nowhere fucking near any of this.
I really, really hope you are not full generalizing in your piece.
I vape with a nicotine liquid. I have not changed my routines or habits the entire Covid pandemic and cared for two Covid positive people and never got sick. I have a good immune system and was never worried about it despite being 50. I heard early on the France was using nicotine patches on health care workers.
I smoke, about 15 cigarettes a day. I got covid a few weeks ago. I'm over it now but I did have it, the loss of smell and taste confirmed it for me. Still haven't recovered full smell and taste.
Not that I'm proud of it, but I smoke two packs a day (trying to quit actually) and I never get sick, period. I always contributed it to either the amount of tar sitting on my lungs, or the fact I consume an above average amount of vitamin C every day for the last 10-ish years; something like 230-345mgs a day.
I suppose its also noteworthy to mention that I have never worn a mask anywhere in public, ever. I hit up the gas station every day, sometimes twice a day to get my smokes, and I shop for groceries once a week.
Also, I am acquainted with smokers that have allegedly gotten sick, but I don't know their personal smoking habits, or if they were hypochondriacs.
the other study I saw said nicotine in general so you could take patch, gum, losenge, etc.
because it was stimulating an immune response or something
Research also suggests nicotine may prevent a severe over-reaction of the immune system called a cytokine storm - a phenomenon found to be killing many COVID-19 patients.
2 of the three associates working close with my husband caught it summer last year. My husband who smokes was the one who didn’t even though they spent a 5 day work trip together in a car driving around most of the time.
I do know smokers that have gotten it here at work. 3. 2 cig smokers 1 vape pen
I remember reading that they were giving nicotine patches to patients in France or Italy early on (like Spring 2020). It stuck out in my mind too because I'm a smoker. I'm sure you could still get it, whatever "it" is (😉) if you smoke though...
Started smoking cigarettes around 13/14. Started smoking weed @ 19.
Still smoke in / around a pack a day. Smoking less weed than a few years ago, but it's between 2-4 joints a day.
I've had the flu once in my life, at 31. Every 2 years I'll get a mild cold, mainly sticks to my sinus area. I have regular allergies to pollen and certain dusts.
I had measles in grade 1, chicken pox in grade 2. Missed ZERO days of school, including high school due to sickness since then.
I've been convinced for years it's the weed. It promotes positive cell regeneration, it's why they give to cell degenerate disease patients ; cancers, parkinson's, MS for example. I personally know people with each of these issues, all 3 have basically gone into full remission w/in a year of regular puffs.
I have zero medical proof to any of this, just straight with my own eyes ( and own health ) experiences.
I cigar smoke occasionally. Day 12 of Covid and smoked one down maybe day 3-4. Always kept my taste but lost my smell. Breathing was tight one night but after getting up and coughing/walking it off and some NAC my lungs were perfect when I laid back down. I would have to say there is some benefit to smoking. My oxygen levels have remained 96-98. Normally it’s around 99-100.
Yes. You need to look in to NIATONIN therapy. It's a Niacin and Melatonin therapy. It's showing great promise. You should check out Dmitry Kats, PhD, MPH.
In a nutshell the Niacin is helping with prevention, jab issues, and long covid. And what form does the body like to take in niacin you might ask? That would be nicotinic acid, and you know where that comes from.
I'm a smoker and it didn't prevent me from getting it. I've been stressing with all the bs and family members getting the jab. While smoking more than I ever have by far I still got the coof. I never got tested or jabbed but I've also never had the flu or any major sickness my entire life until now. (35 yo)
Ivermectin is the key. I felt terrible for atleast 2-1/2 weeks with all symptoms eventually going away except for brain fog and slight vertigo. I couldn't get rid of those 2 symptoms so I finally ordered ivermectin online. Within an hour of my first dose (8 pm) I was starting to feel better. The next morning (6am) I felt almost 100% better. By day three I felt better than I have in the last 6 months.
The info discussed both nicotine and ivermectin. Because so many people here have discussed ivermectin, I wanted to find out about nicotine.
The theory is that there are 2 problems with Covid:
Covid itself (possibly a man-made bioweapon) strips hemoglobin from the blood, which prevents proper oxygen going to the tissues of the body, as well as creating excess amounts of free iron, which must be processed in the liver, and ultimately causes the lung issues that have been seen.
In addition, both Covid and the vaxx (also possibly bio-weapons) include or induce S1 spike protein, which messes with the immune system. Basically, it acts similar to cancer in that it will not let the affected cells die off (apoptosis).
Supposedly, ivermectin kills the virus itself, but the S1 spike proteins are still messing with the immune system via changing cellular behavior. Nicotine supposedly kills off those cells or prevents S1 messing with them in the first place.
In general, smoking likely weakens the immune system, but probably not as much as the S1 spike protein does (at least in the short-term).
So, if you got sick while also smoking, the immune system was probably not as weakened as a non-smoker's would be, and you would not have the long-term effect from the S1. The sickness was finally cleared when you took the ivermectin.
I didn't put 2 and 2 together until now but I believe I've had it for about 3 months. I started getting slight brain fog and slight vertigo every night about an hour before I went to sleep.
After that happening every night for about 2 months i got super sick about a month ago. (No taste or smell, fatigue, insomnia, no appetite, bad brain fog, and bad vertigo.)
I started eating better, taking vitamins, and drinking only water. Everything went away except the vertigo and brain fog but they were slowly getting better just not fast enough for me. Thats when I got ivermectin and boom almost back to 100% over night.
I live in a so called blue city and am in peoples houses daily that are vaxxed and wear masks so that may have some effect.
The weird part is my whole block and random other people I know in the city got sick at exactly the same time.
Well, I have been a smoker (off and on). I don't get flu shots. I don't get sick often, maybe once a year, with a cold or a stomach flu. Rarely bad enough to miss work, just work from home to keep my colleagues to from catching what I've got. Outside of that, my only real problem is an occasional kidney stone. I go for years without taking an antibiotic.
If it really is nicotine that does the work, a non-smoker could consider low doses of a nicotine replacement therapy, e.g. nicorette or it's copies from Walgreens, CVS, etc. I have used it for stopping smoking if I find it difficult and use the small lozenges.
i vape, as do a couple buddies. We all had super minor instances of covid.....well a test showed one of us had covid and we all had symptoms and know others that got it from us that tested positive. Its interesting....those that vape (none of us use analogs anymore) had such mild symptoms it was comical. The few that didn't vape had what seemed like a real flu. But that is pretty unscientific. I don't usually like to say smoking anything can be considered a good thing.
Wasn’t it only a couple of months ago or so when the government made a move to ban menthol cigarettes? I thought it very odd because the majority of my black friends who smoke, smoke only menthol……hmmmm
I am. My symptoms were very mild and only lasted about a day. Now that you mention it, I don’t know any other smoker that has gotten it (knock on wood)
I saw a paper about cannabioids helping - don’t recall one about nicotine, will keep an eye out for ya!
Oh hey! I found one of those 72 alts!

How come this turd hasnt been flushed already?
Yeah, I am not sure about using weed or nicotine for a virus. As for your points above, I totally agree, look at Canada….
I beg your pardon.

Im a smoker and have been around MANY people who were symptomatic with multiple.positkve covid tests.
Never had more than a stomach ache for a couple of hours.
Was amongst the first to unmask and dont wash my hands all that often when in public and I never use antibacterial hand was or soap.

edit: but I wouldn't worry about covid in general but nicotine has been said to be good for the brain in intermittent doses

I'm given to understand that some the chinese smoke the occasional cigarette.
Not many Chinese got Covid. Weird , huh?
I smoke, never a hint of covid, no masks, no vaxx, been living like it’s 2018 the whole time with no worries.
All I can tell you is this.
Started smoking cigarettes around 13/14. Started smoking weed @ 19. Still smoke in / around a pack a day. Smoking less weed than a few years ago, but it's between 2-4 joints a day.

I'm a smoker and never got it. And I work in a building with around 5,000-10,000 people.
I'm a smoker. Don't know if I have or have not gotten it, never bothered with getting tested.
Also, haven't gotten the flu in ~20 years either.
Friend smokes cigars, takes snuff and vapes weed. No coof.
This is where I read it.
