I straight up have a problem with this: Solicitation after signing on AZ Audit petition page.

I said it before and I will say it again (down votes be damned)...the audit is a symbolic gesture and a fund raising campaign...as you are now aware. Wendy said so herself on Bannons show. And there's nothing wrong with that as long as you know up front. It is NOT a petition that actually has any authority to recall electors or overturn the 2020 election. Signing the petition is a symbolic show of support and if you wish to donate to the cause, well you can do that too. It's a bit unfortunate that this petition is misleading. It plays on the emotions of patriots who know in their heart of hearts, that the election was stolen. We are a peaceful sort looking for any way to right this wrong without anyone getting hurt. This petition is an emotional money grab. IMO, of course.
So what exactly is the money going to go to, at this point?
I know people here have been donating money like crazy, but it's always been in service to something. It's been in service to Powell's Kraken, or a Wood lawsuit, or Lindell's symposium, or the audit effort.
If you donated money right now, and the audit is just a "symbolic gesture", then what exactly are you hoping they're going to do with that money that will get Trump reinstated at this point?
My guess is that they ALWAYS need money, regardless of the cause. In this case, election integrity comes at a price? Sad, isn't it?
Sure, but transparency is an important part of the “asking for money” pitch. Shit, if I was asking for five bucks from a friend, I’d still tell them why.
Agreed. I like the idea of knowing how every dollar is spent, and if there are administration fees, I want to know how much. We all need to be more thoughtful as to our donations - if we don’t look, then for all we know, we’re donating to a shadow group that is actually fighting against us (ie Salvation Army, Red Cross, etc)
What's the problem with the Salvation Army?
Yep. We're on the same page, fren.
I just abhor this method of solicitation. First, I love Trump and Wendy Rogers but they should know that many people hate being baited into donating because they 1) open the email 2) respond to a poll, answer a question or vote in what they believe is a legitimate request for their opinion. Then, only to see the real reason for being emailed is to solicit money and get their email address or phone numbers for future requests. This is wrong because it sours us from believing and trusting people we like. Want to destroy MAGA Patriot movement? Keep doing this type of solicitation. Do not tread on us, do not spam us with bait and switch emails, do not use the same companies that do this for all the Swamp creatures. We do not like being used, abused or tricked. I will NEVER DONATE when these are sent to me, NEVER EVER.
They will lose their base. Tacky as hell.
I've been getting three exact types of emails from the Trump campaign for 5+ years. They worked really hard to make you feel like an asshole for not donating. I know that's his campaign tho, they need dough. Trump doesn't want donations from anyone who can't afford to donate - our support already means so much to him!
That's specifically the RNC, who uses Trump's name and we've begun to tell to F off en masse
Who lost the election? Not trump…
First thing was Wendy asked for your phone number on 1st page. No, just no.
Remember those 'text WIN to 37795' and all those during the 2020 election? My phone number has been NON STOP for 18 months every few days with texts and phone calls from people running for everything from dog catcher to mayor to local judges etc. Always a duped number / never the same 2x. Was 'WinRed' or something that appeared on Trump stage so was legit Trump (back then at least). Hundreds of 'unsubscribe' and 'STOP' replies do nothing. My number has been sold over and over and over...
Can you just block the number? They probably don't have more than a few dedicated to outgoing messages, unless they're going full scam and deliberately trying to bypass blocks.
Duped numbers. NEVER the same one twice. AKA use a program to fake the number coming to my phone. Had blocked 20 or so the first few weeks and can't even bother any more. Like 754 202-2112 comes in. Next time its 754 202-2113 same message... and on and on.
I went to sign it and saw that, I switched my area code numbers, but I left a message on her page that she would have a lot more signatures without forcing people to doxx themselves, I put in my yahoo email, which I use as a spam account, and only check a few times a year. After reading your comment, I'm glad I did.
Booo. Yeah, sounds like they're deliberately trying to bypass.
I signed and ignored the donation page. Why do they ALWAYS have to solicit?
I brought this up yesterday....kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth, almost like bait and switch. I have donated to several when I was able and will again but I just don't like the way they slide it in...might just be my circumstances right now.. or not.
Come on guys. Just click on "other" and set it to zero. You don't have to donate anything.
Meee Tooo.
Put in 1 mil a month. Might get a chance to tell Wendy personally how you feel about this.
Every time a pol asks you to sign a petition you’re added to a fundraising list. And that list will be bought and sold until the end of time.
Remember this when nothing happens after the audit.
Small donors are the only way to ensure integrity in our elected officials... people like Wendy will need our help. Unless you think it is best for us if she takes big money from George Soros et al.
100% agree. And I'm all for supporting the cause with my hard earned money. Just be up front about it.
What’s the problem you have exactly?
Grifting for money with all talk and no results.
These people are all out of credit and it’s time to produce more than words.
How do you determine that it’s all talk and no results? Do you think the Maricopa Audit report doesn’t exist?
Sure hasn’t materialized.
Hasn’t materialized in the media you mean?
An Anedot fundraising page, as opposed to anything useful like how to get involved, how to start an audit in your local community?
I understand you can contact your local Supervisor of Elections if you want to start an audit.
