I told her that I was not comfortable discussing and she acted like I was the weird one. Then she started back pedaling and saying ohh I was just trying to find out who all is concerned. No that’s not what you were doing at all.

I got that talk last week the day before Biden's threat, every time I pointed out the truth about the FDA "approval" and being a private company doesn't protect you from discrimination lawsuits they got increasingly nervous looking. The conversation ended when they suggested I speak to my doctor about an exemption and I implied that I'd speak to a lawyer instead. Interestingly there was supposed to be an announcement that day but it got delayed to yesterday and the info only went to specific people though but not me, a coworker forwarded it to me and I'm looking into having a lawyer possibly review it ahead of time before they inevitably come after me.
Well done for sticking to your guns and also in getting the document. I'm sure there are lists on GAW about which lawyers to use, if not they will direct you to a like minded friend.
When you get the lawyers to look at it pass the lawyers words and details to other employees to really light a fire under their ass.
I don't know about other offices in other states but nobody else seems to be really resisting in mine so it's likely all up to me to act.
According to the manufacturers, the vax does not protect you from infection, does not prevent you from passing it on and might reduce your symptoms. So the only one who might benefit from an mRNA "vax" is the vaxxed individual, since all they are designed to do is lessen clinical symptoms associated with the S-1 spike protein. Therefore, since you're the only one who might reap a benefit, it makes no sense to demand that you accept the risks of the therapy "for the greater good" of your community.

Most people are cowards. They will hide and not say anything until they see someone else stand out. Even then, most people will skulk in the background hoping that you fight and win the battle for them.
Stand your ground confident in the knowledge that you will save your life and the lives of the cowards that hide behind you.
Correct. The revolution was only fought by 3% of the population

From what I’ve been reading, that was probably the best response. Give little to no info, make them feel uncomfortable and prying. Draw out the process. Continually refuse to discuss it in person and when the emails begin, save everything. Don’t resign. Good luck! You are not alone 👍🏻
That’s my plan is to ride it out as long as I can and then apply for an exemption. This will all be done through HR and not my manages because my personal health information is none of my bosses damn business.
Especially if they’re walking around “gauging the response” business are scared what their employees will do. Or won’t do. Until you see official inter office email or memo, any conversations are speculation and you can shut them down: “I haven’t seen anything official yet. I haven’t heard from the company yet, so how can I have a reaction?”
I’m glad you’re on here letting us know how it goes, and I hope your coworkers are also planning their passive resistance.
I did say that we are still awaiting the official guidance from OSHA and the President, correct?
Do not comply with any unwanted medical tests.
Do you really want them shoving a nail up your nose? Do you consent to the use of your personal medical information as a condition for work?
Just because they have a clause does not make it right and does not mean we should comply.
Remind your employer that everything nazi Germany did was legal according to German law of the time.
A wonderful young man that is friends with my sons got it. He and his new bride want to have lots of kids. I didn't tell him what I know. I just said I hope you got the placebo.
Also fire back about why is natural immunity being ignored and why can't an antibody test be substituted.
In the military we have been told we have 3 choices, Religious Exemption, Medical Exemption, or get out. For the Medical exemption it does appear that they are offering a choice that indicates previous covid infection and natural immunity.
Bosses are getting terrible legsl advice. They should RUN from vaccines mandates.
If ONE person sues an employer for vaccine injury, and wins, that will doom all companies who did it. How have they not seen this?
"I'm not sure, but how do you feel about the upcoming lawsuits you're going to be getting?"
“Yes, they’re illegal.”
Hahaha…brilliant.
This^
Compile a well thought out, well researched, and well sited email and submit it to her and her bosses, all the way up to the top. Send it to everyone else in the workplace, too. At the end of it, before your signature, let them know in no uncertain terms that they will be forced to fire you before you ever take a mandatory "vaccine."
All bosses are not in favor of the vaccine nor the mandate. Many are trying to figure out how to deal with a situation they didn’t create, don’t support, and can’t change. Despite what some folks may think, firing people is not fun. Many are struggling with the same concerns the employees have in addition to the added burden of how to keep the operation going.
Just because cowards feel remorse is no reason for empathy.
Go on the offensive.
Let them know their behavior is deeply disappointing. You thought they were a good leader until they caved and participated in this clearly unethical and potentially illegal action.
I think he's saying it's easy to fire someone that deserves it.
Nope he's whiteknighting for the people with the authority to stand up for their employees but don't wanna get sacked for not sacking the underlings. There is very little to think about and struggle with. It's not legal. It's not binding. Unless you are relying on federal grants/contracts (which could go away if you don't dance to their tune obv) you have every right to run your business as you see fit.
Just putting out feelers to figure out how many employees they will lose when the drop the hammer and mandate.
Noooo
Just know this, these morons are more than likely are still going to fire you. The legal battle down the road will be a ‘future’ issue someone else will have to deal with.
Our friend who works at Cabella’s was approached by her manager and told to sign a document disclosing her vax status and on there is a ‘decline to answer option’. She told them she didn’t feel comfortable signing this at all to begin with. She was fired for not signing it. This just happened yesterday.
. #BoycottCabellas
Wow.
Cabela’s has been in the shitter for a while, compounded by the Bass Pro buy-out.
Hopefully she sues them for as much as possible.
It is strange in Kansas, Cabella's has a sign on the door that you must have a mask on to enter the store due to the mask mandate (for which there is not one in Kansas now) and all the employees are masked up. Drive to Bass Pro (also in Kansas) and they don't care and none of the employees are wearing masks.
I would have engaged them with another question. Are you worried about loose 50% of your work force?
I covered myself and my child by going to my health department and getting a Religious Exemption to Vaccination. If they even attempt now to force or mandate any vax, we will be covered under our constitutional bill of rights and ready for lawsuits.
The problem with a religious exemption is that it can be denied on the whims of someone else. Who made them God?
According to our Constitution as American citizens, our rights to religion and freedom thereof cannot be infringed upon. That being said Civil Rights act of 1964 prohibits employers as well as agencies and unions from restricting, or making requests of any person to comply with anything outside of or regarding their religious belief. Title VII of Civil Rights Act.
Constitution also says
meanwhile the ATF still exists and things vary by state whether or not you're allowed to exercise your constitutional right.
Maybe I should do that now.
Hopefully you have no concerns because you won't be complying.
Happened at my work and they threw me under the bus. DO NOT TALK TO YOUR BOSS OR ANYONE AT WORK ABOUT THIS SHIT.
Good to know. That’s kind of what I figured. That’s a trap.
Ahhh I wish I would have though of that!
After the boss had that talk with me as I was leaving I pondered aloud how many more people the company was about to lose and if it'd survive.
