Secondly, I don't know what shape you are in, but with the way the police departments are being treated, they may need good police officers to fill the ranks. If you think you can, or can, pass a physical agility test, try out and see if you can get hired some agencies hire twice per year, some only once. It isn't easy and maybe difficult, but if you have a military background it could be your spot, and some agencies pay very good. Think about it.
