There’s no requirement to get the shot yet, so they may be gauging how many people are not going to get it. I can see this being helpful if there’s a large number of “no” answers, but I’ve also seen someone post basically that you shouldn’t voluntarily give them your status.

I'd go with "none of your business".
Unfortunately not an option on the mandatory marked questionnaire. It’s multiple choice. See my other response below for more details.
They are asking you a question. Why do you assume you must answer?
Instead, ask them questions:
In order to make an informed decision, could you please answer these questions for me:
If they answer those, and talk about Covid vaxx, I would ask:
If they say Pfizer or Moderna, I would ask:
If they answer that, I would ask about what facts they base it on, etc.
Come back at them by making THEM PROVE they have a right to do what they are assuming you will allow them to do.
Really it’s for my wife’s job. She asked what I thought and I said to at least wait until their deadline if she’s going to respond. They sent it in an email marked “MANDATORY” so she feels compelled to answer. I’m not worried about her complying with getting the shot. She’s just as adamant in her belief it’s poison. But she’s worried they’re going to fire her for not answering. I said I didn’t think they would fire her for that. I didn’t see any room to fill in your own answers. It was a multiple choice questionnaire tied to her employee ID.
My job just made it a rule that you can only go into the office if you’re fully vaxxed and submit your papers, so it looks like both our jobs may be in jeopardy soon. Not a good feeling when you have little ones depending on you, but we have faith God will get us through this.
Just because they say it’s mandatory doesn’t mean it’s mandatory. I would just ignore it and I wouldn’t answer. It’s none of their business. Once you start giving them that information, who knows what that means. I would just ignore it. It’s none of their business end of story it’s none of their business to have any of your medical information. That’s a HIPAA violation. And they know it. But if you fill out that document or she fills out that document, then now she’s consenting to that. Do not consent. Do not Consent
Thanks for the support. I’ll pass this along.
This is the optimal approach. Well stated, Mag.
I saved this post from another … really good questions in here to consider…
Questions in response to HR mandate
And here are another’s conditional acceptance letters….thank you fellow pedes.
conditional acceptance letters
Thanks for the resources!
They can legally ask, you can legally not give them that information. They can legally take action against you for not complying, you can legally take civil action against them, My opinion, for what it's worth, state "no" and claim a conscientious objection to the vaccine - many routes that can be pursued - religious being the most obvious but one does not need to be religious to have an objection to the use of HEK293T cells in the testing of the vaccines or an objection to taking an experimental drug that is under EUA status that specifically states that taking it must be done with informed consent - i.e. you have been made aware of all the information, including possible adverse reactions and you have been given the choice to take it or not. You should also make them aware that you do not give them consent to share that protected medical information with anyone and they have the burden of insuring that your medical information is kept secure - make them put it int writing so they know you want their actions recorded and their agreement to protect your medical information.
Just by filling out the form is saying that you can send to them asking those questions. They don’t have the right to ask those questions legally so I don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s a HIPAA violation
You obviously have no clue what HIPAA applies to.
I use to work in HR
Then you owe your former company a refund.

If you want to use a law as a defense, at least know the law you are citing.
Thanks, you gave me some good ideas.
My response: "I do not provide my private medical information. That information remains confidential between myself and my doctor."
That's just as good as a no. In fact, its better. It's actually:
"You have no legitimate business even asking this question of any of your employees, and you should not be cooperating with what is essentially a coercive agenda to undermine the rights of the people, starting with forcing or pressuring for an injection."
Thanks, fren. Will consider this one.
Good luck, and prayers for your success in ALL endeavors.
I wouldn’t provide them with that information. That is your personal medical information. Once you start to fill out forms providing them with that information, who knows what that means legally down the line. I just would not comply with the information, and when it comes down to it I would tell him it’s none of their business.
Tell them verbally in cryptic language so they realize you’re not getting jabbed but do not sign or document anything
Hey - what ended up happening with your wife's employer? My work is asking for our vax status and says we MUST respond. I am planning on not responding at all and was curious what happened with you guys?
She responded after a few harassing emails reminding her filling out the survey was required. She chose the multiple choice option of “no plans to get it” and thankfully is able to work from home full time to circumvent the vaccination requirement to go into the office now. She’s also been connecting with other people at the company in case they do decide to fire them.
I hope you can work from home as an alternative to getting fired for refusing. This is a hard time for a lot of people.
Thanks for replying. I am planning on ignoring all emails and if my boss presses me I will just say he can refer me to HR. If they force me between disclosing and getting fired... idk I might tell them. There is no way I will take the vax under any circumstances. I have a years worth of savings so luckily I will be OK financially for a little while. Thanks again friend and take care in these dark times.
I feel the same way. There’s no dollar amount worth testing that poison out on me or my family. We will do our best to keep our jobs without compromising our convictions and bodily sovereignty, but if we lose our jobs, so be it. We will survive even if it means hard times.
Hope you’re able to keep your job too. Just know there are so many more people like us and even if it takes a minute to spin up, a parallel economy will begin to grow and jobs will open up for non-vaccinated. Take care and never give up!
I haven't been faced with this level of 'questionnaire ' yet. But if/when I did, I would be tempted to answer nothing. Then use any comments section to inform that I might answer if they ever sent out equal questionares that gauged how many in the company have had hiv, stds, skin rashes, tuberculosis, etc..
They are gauging the possible HR costs. Looks like Southwestern and other examples are starting to slow their roll. How important are you to the organization? Could you work as a private contractor? If so start that ball rolling, maybe feel out your coworkers and start your own agency.
I mentioned in another reply it’s my wife’s job. She’s not in a super critical role, but they would be stupid to fire her. She’s completely remote.
It would be funny if she could pull a fight club extortion gimmick. Her job will be to never tell anyone the things she knows.
Consider where that information is really going. Sure they may use it but what happens when a government stooge asks them for it?
If they ask you face to face you can have a conversation. Consider making them come ask you for it.
Here is your answer. Let me know if the link doesn't work
