Having said that, saying "The Rockefellers" is closer to the truth when someone says "The Government" than what most people think they mean. So the above meme is kinda true, even though it doesn't understand what it is saying.
While I think that is likely true, I am having a difficult time corroborating that statement (as part of my report).
I have that the Rothschilds owned the National City Bank of Cleveland in 1976, but I can find no evidence to show that they had an interest in it in the 1860s/70s. I have evidence that JD Rockefeller at that time was borrowing a lot of money (Ida Tarbell's book), and was based in Cleveland, but I can find no evidence that he borrowed from the City Bank of Cleveland even if the Rothschilds owned it then.
I would really like to make this connection solid. If you have any primary sourced evidence to support it, that would be really helpful.
I haven't read the whole thing (its 900 pages) but from what I have read, there is no mention of it. I have read what I think is the whole account for that time period, and it isn't stated explicitly. It states the numbers, but not the sources.
I don't have any idea if you are wrong. I read it everywhere, there is just no evidence that I can find.
It is plausible that if the Rothschilds owned the National City Bank of Cleveland in 1976 (for which there is evidence) that they also owned it in 1860+. From all that I have found on the Rothschilds I'd say that's likely. But I can't find the evidence to support it.
Its plausible that Rockefeller being the Kingpin of the Cleveland oil refining business, and borrowing all sorts of money (for which there is substantial evidence) that he also borrowed it (or primarily borrowed it) from the National City Bank of Cleveland, but I can't find evidence to support it. I'd love to make that connection. It would mean a lot to my report. It would tie up quite a few things neatly.
Any direct and substantial financial connection between the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds before 1913 would be awesome. If it were the Rockefellers indebted, that would be even better, but any connection before the founding of The Fed would be very useful.

I always tell people to point to where the US Constitution orders the federal government to assume responsibility of educating our nation's children... because I can show you that same command in the Communist Manifesto.
It seems to me based on actually reading the constitution that the 10th Amendment applies fully to that question. Thus it should be up to the states and WTP.
The schools were subverted long before the federal government got involved. Even local government cannot be trusted with educating our children.
It was a gradual decline over generations, but in the year 1900 most schools were fine, by 1950 basically all schools had been taken over by leftist machines. As others in the thread have pointed out, Rockefeller had a lot to do with that progression.
The one room neighborhood/home school, run by one of the neighborhood mothers or grandmothers, was fine. Centralized schooling, where hundreds or thousands of children are gathered together, separated by age, taught standard curriculum decided by committee, by teachers trained in marxist universities, is an unmitigated disaster.
And not just because the teachers are marxists, simply gathering that many children together is a disaster. Instead of the natural hierarchy of age to organize the children, they are segregated into massive same-age groups, which is completely unnatural. From this perverse situation, negative behavioral contagion is amplified, hierarchies are built upon bullying and sex appeal, and children learn horrible lessons about how to succeed and their worth in society. Add in the marxist authoritarian teaching and there's no where to go but down the drain.
We have two options; infiltrate the system the way they did and take it back or create a parallel society separate and apart from their evil.

Answer: YOUNG PEOPLE! KJV BIBLE as a text book for YOUNG PEOPLE. Reading / understanding the Bible (any translation) will then be easier for young adults. WHOA! Bible for education in ALL school? WHY NOT?

I took Latin. The KJV was already translated, so I didn't see the need for Hebrew or Greek, even if they had been taught in my school. I hear that Latin isn't taught any more. That's a shame, as it helps in vocabulary. Half of all the big words in English came from Latin. The others came from Greek.
It gives me chills to think that we could be educating our children to be capable of 'interpreting' (at least, sort-of) some of the most ancient manuscripts related to the Holy written Word of the Only Living God - PLUS enumerable historic, secular texts. Throw in some Latin and they could be that much better prepared for participation in (and the further enabling of) what we've been calling "Western Civilization".

The word you want is "innumerable." The Latin numerabilis means "countable", so innumerable means "uncountable," or "many." "Enumerable" would mean the opposite -- so few that it would be easy to count.
I would recommend learning a bit of Latin yourself, it will dramatically improve your understanding of America's Great English language. To tell others to research before you do yourself should give you great shame.
KJV is actually written in 5th grade reading level. NIV is 8th grade reading level.
Learn a few new words, such as thee, thou, and begat, and it's less difficult than reading a science text that introduces new terms.

I think that was the Northwest Ordinance of 1787. A well thought out provision for one lot in each section to be set aside for a school. They could not have foreseen how this would be abused.
