And they're backed up, too. The ports we have are in Blue Counties.
My brother works for a shipping/logistics company in TN. He handles their Independent Contracted Truckers. He's been telling me that since COVID came, they've been losing truckers. They're refusing to drive into blue states that require tests/vaccines to operate in. The IC's that have multiple trucks/drivers aren't willing to pick up new routes because of the COVID stimulus money. That plan really gummed up the machine, because these companies actually made more money to NOT deliver goods than they would normally make. And there were A LOT of older drivers that decided to retire rather than deal with the bullshit.
The problem is multi faceted, ALL of it designed to break the U.S.
Where are we are I just left the grocery store this section where Powder mashed potatoes Are usually at was empty And noodles were put in their place. The store said they did not have any powdered.
I constantly keep them in the house because they hold well If anything major happens to the food supply you can live on mash potatoes
I would like to hear more about this, regardless of MSM reporting, this kind of info usually surfaces quickly. All I have heard is Ships sitting idle in Cali.
That is awful. cannot deliver or pick up anywhere in California? Sounds like another plan to destroy California just like Biden trying to destroy America
California recently ruled that owner operator truck drivers can not pick up freight from the ports. making it so only big companies can handle that freight.
it has nothing to do with them refusing the poison,
Any justification for this particular ruling given? Maybe big companies have exclusive control over the dolphin farts or fairy dusts or whatever the leftists think trucks are powered by?
'Hey lets ban 95% of all transport from our ports.. for no fucking reason at all. What could go wrong?'
Others have said before and it is worth repeating.. if an enemy had control of blue cities and wanted to fuck things up as badly as possible, how would things be different to how they are now?
I also assume ports will have rail connectivity to the rest of the nation.. are trains banned too?
A fake cure for a non-dangerous disease is somehow reason enough to shut a state down, its major trade hub, and fuck over a large piece of the whole nation.
The govt probably has more control over the big freight companies whereas the independents can just do what they want. Or even that a lot of the large carriers like Schneider, Kreilkamp, etc are willing to accept vax mandates in exchange for their smaller competition to get pushed out of the market.
But wait, I was told by smarmy Californians that their state produces the most fruit out of the whole nation, so they must be fine. They will blame the Patriots when they make their own farms fail.
Sundance did a good job digging as to why shipments are backed up in Calf. And I believe his research over this person story. What evidence does this person have to make these wild claims. Quit falling for every bullshit story that comes along.
Guess the Big Companies will win again. Small businesses are out of luck. It still ties in with Covid via the Globalists wanting the Big Companies to help Govern the World.
It could also be a combination of both reasons. If I were a trucker with a rig that was new enough and had my choice of where to run, going into a woke state full of vax and mask Nazi's would not be my first choice.
On this episode of What's Going on with Shipping, Sal Mercogliano - Chair of the Department of History, Criminal Justice, and Political Science, former merchant mariner, and instructor in courses in Maritime History, Security, and Industry Policy - discusses the voyage of MV Star Lygra from China to Houston, Texas with a load of newly built 53 foot Amazon containers on board.
What does this mean for the ocean carrier business?
Will AMAZON operate their own shipping line and will others follow suit?
I saw a video post yesterday here that doesn't support this. There were a bunch of trucks waiting in Washington but the cranes weren't offloading anything. There are no port workers. Why would you work when the government is taking care of you?
May be true in CA, just saying the video didn't support this.
Those possibly could be large trucking conglomerates that have many of their libtard employees vaccinated đź’‰ already.
The CA big trucking companies (likely owned by China) have fleet lines of trucks less than three years old to comply with the Commifornia Green New Deal regulations mentioned and linked above.
If thousands of smaller and independent trucking companies are not coming into these Blue States to haul out cross-country, therein could lie the reason for many of the back ups and log jams.
Those smaller companies and independent truckers could be heading to and working out of Texas and Florida (and other free States) to make some good bank for the rest of the year. đź’°
That video is ...questionable. One of those trucks was an Atlas Van Lines moving truck. But I digress that type of crane doesn't have the large vertical portion move when moving a container. That's not how it works.
You should see what the ocean looks like by my house in California just South of Long Beach port I live about 45 miles from there and there are hundreds of ships just sitting Not going anywhere
Yeah they blame the trucker shortage but that's been going on for years. I've been to Houston ports a few times recently trucks are flying through there (don't get me wrong it's still like an hour wait or so). The ports in California I heard are terrible but the small ones you can get through pretty easily. It's more of a port problem
I've said this before but this was going to happen anyway, they are setting up a narrative to blame "anti-vax" people for the hard times that they created on purpose. It's part of the globalist reset plan.
The death of the zombie economy has been warned about and talked about since long before Trump, Q, the scamdemic and long before many were awake to the push for a global new world order.
I have been expecting this since a couple years after 9-11 which was the moment that fully woke me up. People who understand money and markets have been warning about it since we went "temporarily" off of metal-backed money 50 years ago and they were right.
Our attention is the most valuable commodity on Earth, we need to use it wisely.
Railroad tracks run right to dockside in Los Angeles/Long Beach to the present day, a fact which makes fairytales about green truck mandates being responsible for the current goods bottleneck so recockulous as to cause open-mouthed gawping at the spectacle, and at the jackassery necessary to palm such a load of bullshit off as steak.
The fact that there are a finite number of berths, cranes, and longshoremen, with a commensurately predictable maximum number of containers that can be offloaded per hour, and thus a similarly predictable number of ships per day, expressable for one-, two-, and three-shift days, is rather tediously obvious to anyone who can do math with their shoes on.
Florida's got some ports..
Texas too. Fuck em.
And they're backed up, too. The ports we have are in Blue Counties.

Yep blue liberal states about to get fucked.
Where are we are I just left the grocery store this section where Powder mashed potatoes Are usually at was empty And noodles were put in their place. The store said they did not have any powdered.

California Green New Deal in effect. means trucks cannot be older than 3 years if they are to pick up or deliver containers at those ports.
That is awful. cannot deliver or pick up anywhere in California? Sounds like another plan to destroy California just like Biden trying to destroy America
Yep! Truth.
Exactly. I believe Sundance over this wild claim, with not evidence to back it up.
Did you mean unsubstantiated?
https://www.portoflosangeles.org/environment/air-quality/clean-truck-program
How are they going to deliver those leaf blowers?
California recently ruled that owner operator truck drivers can not pick up freight from the ports. making it so only big companies can handle that freight.

Probably larger companies have to get the jab. >100 employees and all.
Thats probably the reason I guess.
A fake cure for a non-dangerous disease is somehow reason enough to shut a state down, its major trade hub, and fuck over a large piece of the whole nation.
kinda like climate change, lol
The govt probably has more control over the big freight companies whereas the independents can just do what they want. Or even that a lot of the large carriers like Schneider, Kreilkamp, etc are willing to accept vax mandates in exchange for their smaller competition to get pushed out of the market.
When liberals shit holes become food deserts you can expect that shit to go right to the red states and red towns and red cities.
George scrotos and shill Gates would rather pay to bus them over than feed them.
But wait, I was told by smarmy Californians that their state produces the most fruit out of the whole nation, so they must be fine. They will blame the Patriots when they make their own farms fail.
This is the first explanation that finally makes sense.
California Green New Deal in effect. means trucks cannot be older than 3 years if they are to pick up or deliver containers at those ports.
they also recently decided ow we operators can't touch port freight

The California Version of The Green New Deal and an October 16, 2020, EPA Settlement With Transportation is What’s Creating The Container Shipping Backlog – Working CA Ports 24/7 Will Not Help, Here’s Why

Sundance had an excellent analysis on this. Seems it’s been simmering pre-COVID https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2021/10/14/the-california-version-of-the-green-new-deal-and-an-october-16-2020-epa-settlement-with-transportation-is-whats-creating-the-container-shipping-backlog-working-ca-ports-24-7-will-not-help-here/

Well, now that is interesting.

Yes that’s it. More small biz owners destroyed, big corporations benefit.
I also understand that no owner-operator rigs are allowed on the docks.
That video is ...questionable. One of those trucks was an Atlas Van Lines moving truck. But I digress that type of crane doesn't have the large vertical portion move when moving a container. That's not how it works.

It's not then only problem.
...is that why I havent seen the shortages in noreast texas? (well, that and having The mighty mississip just a few miles east, lol)
We haven't seen them in Kansas either.
I think red states that are connected to red states will be fine but reds surrounded by blues are going to suffer. Blues will eat themselves.
Well, carry on my wayward son.
You can't blame this on truckers or new truck regulations in CA
The RACONTEUR REPORT has this very solid analysis...
