Head of Health Emergencies Program “best estimates” put IFR at 0.14%
The World Health Organization has finally confirmed what we (and many experts and studies) have been saying for months – the coronavirus is no more deadly or dangerous than seasonal flu.
The WHO’s top brass made this announcement during a special session of the WHO’s 34-member executive board on Monday October 5th, it’s just nobody seemed to really understand it.
In fact, they didn’t seem to completely understand it themselves.
At the session, Dr Michael Ryan, the WHO’s Head of Emergencies revealed that they believe roughly 10% of the world has been infected with Sars-Cov-2. This is their “best estimate”, and a huge increase over the number of officially recognised cases (around 35 million).
Dr. Margaret Harris, a WHO spokeswoman, later confirmed the figure, stating it was based on the average results of all the broad seroprevalence studies done around the world.
As much as the WHO were attempting to spin this as a bad thing – Dr Ryan even said it means “the vast majority of the world remains at risk.” – it’s actually good news. And confirms, once more, that the virus is nothing like as deadly as everyone predicted.
The global population is roughly 7.8 billion people, if 10% have been infected that is 780 million cases. The global death toll currently attributed to Sars-Cov-2 infections is 1,061,539.
That’s an infection fatality rate of roughly or 0.14%. Right in line with seasonal flu and the predictions of many experts from all around the world.
0.14% is over 24 times LOWER than the WHO’s “provisional figure” of3.4% back in March. This figure was used in the models which were used to justify lockdowns and other draconian policies.
In fact, given the over-reporting of alleged Covid deaths, the IFR is likely even lower than 0.14%, and could show Covid to be much less dangerous than flu.
None of the mainstream press picked up on this. Though many outlets reported Dr Ryan’s words, they all attempted to make it a scary headline and spread more panic.
Apparently neither they, nor the WHO, were capable of doing the simple maths that shows us this is good news. And that the Covid sceptics have been right all along.

What baffles me is that they put this info out in the first place, assuming they are part of the cabal-controlled effort to foster chaos. So... maybe white hats are in control?
But then again, the press is not carrying it... so, the white hats are not in control, or at least not of the press, yet?
Or... white hats are giving us this nugget so that we (the new press) do exactly what we're doing here... spreading the word?
Yes
It IS the flu. It has always Been the flu. The CDC charts have always listed it as The Flu. The real question is, how moronic (or criminal) is the MSM, CDC,ADA and Fauci for pretending the FLU actually killed NO ONE in 2019/2020?
I think it’s actually a cold?
Ya, felt more like a cold to me. Just took a week and a half for the massive fatigue to go away.
Same. But then 4 months later the parosmia set in. 🤬
No, I lost sense of smell during the virus, but then 4 months later parosmia set in, which is a distorted sense of smell/ taste. Lettuce tastes like perfume and bananas smell like actual feces. A lot of people have this now after the Rona, with all different smells involved, and ever-changing.
Very nauseating. Burgers smell like dirty tampons rolled in fish. Strawberries taste like sulfur.
That sucks! The rona only made me lose my smell and taste for a week or two and back to normal after that. Everything smelled and tasted like dish soap
Palmolive? That’s a serious culprit!
That seems true, but then what was gained by spending millions on gain of function research?
...or the vaccine IS the variant?
Same thing here
good catch
While I believe that COVID is similar to the cold of flu, not sure you want to use a guess at the estimate of the number of people that may have been infected to base all your numbers on. That 10% number seems like simply that, just a guess.
Maybe huge numbers have been exposed and just didn't get infected because of their immune system? I think I had the flu when I was a teenager (long time ago). I have never had it since. Maybe I'm protected from COVID because of that? Who knows. Surely the experts don't seem to know. In fact it seems whatever they say you can assume the opposite and you'd be more correct than them.
Good stuff
after we got over Covid, my husband called it (Covid) "Flu with extra seasoning" He got the worst of it, 103° fevers and a horrid cough, couldn't keep anything down. Got him some prescrip meds for cough and nausea, other than that it was a lot of Dayquil/Nyquil, Gatorade and soup. Only lost sense of smell for a few days. By the end of quarantine, I was practically climbing the walls out of boredom ready to go back to work.
Also remember that they came to this conclusion using datasets that were heavily biased to make this look more deadly at every single step of data collection. So this includes all they people they murdered with remdesivir and ventilators.
...and car crashes, freak accidents, old age...
What are we "at risk" of, surviving?
maybe "accidentally" is the only way for some researchers to release real numbers?p
Lies bc there is just the flu and no covid
Infection fatality, keep in mind, is how likely you are to die if you get infected. Multiply that by the chance of getting and you have your total mortality rate.
Where did you get 1m risk deaths globally? Aren't there 700k supposed us deaths?
It’s quote from the link given
The link gives 5,017,413 deaths to this day. Not saying it's accurate, it just greatly differs from the number in the article..
