I’ve commented before as someone living in Japan but the news has NOT mentioned anything about the protocols changing to use ivermectin. I seriously hope it’s true but they certainly are not admitting it. When it says that they doubled down on ivermectin they are indubitably referring to the chief medical officer recommending its use, not that it was actually instituted as a policy.
If anyone has any ACTUAL sources showing that they are using it, please share!! As an anti-mRNA person living in Japan I would love it to be the case. I wish I knew someone who had caught covid so I could ask them what meds they received.
Incidentally, Tokyo just released today’s update: 9 new cases, 1 death (that’s just Tokyo, not all Japan)
I just wish MOFA would update their rules so I can visit. Mandatory two weeks in a hole just isn't worth taking the time off or dealing with airlines. Love going to Japan and haven't seen my lady since 2019 cause of the coof lockdowns.

Its just a misunderstanding of what is really happening. Can confirm as someone also living in Japan. Still pushing the vaxx, not talking about ivermectin. Cases are way down though, so who knows.
