That is entirely possible. I think the raid was to either to intimidate PV or because Biden is about to be removed from his position. Who knows really. What I do know, I don't like my taxes to pay for bogus raids.
Why not both? Effective way to promote Kamala while booting Biden or persuading him to resign. If he resigns to avoid distractions for the benefit of the country, then the diary can either be proven true or false depending on who they want to target more. Maybe I'm overthinking, but time will tell...
Well I don't know. This is really an odd thing to do. Yes the diary was published a while back but at this point it may as well have been memory holed. So why dredge it up and make a big huge public stink about it? I don't understand. I could see the raid just as another intimidation tactic for PV especially if PV hadn't disclosed the raid right. But then someone else tips off New York Times. What? Now the story runs in both Lib and Conservative media. Why?
Also no comment from Trump yet. I know he isn't the be all end all but he is known to weigh in on things like this.
If diary is true, who benefits? Kamala and possibly democrats in general for 25th'ing Biden. And whoever breaks the story.
If diary is fake, who benefits? All democrats as they entrap the right and possibly incl PV.
Coupled with the easy-to-read double-spaced-ness as other commenters have mentioned, and the suspect timing, it sounds to me like it's a cooked up gotcha. But it could still be a way for Biden to take one for the team like Al Franken while denying charges, to be vindicated later and remembered fondly for his sacrifice. While possibly dragging down PV and defaming anyone who believes it.
Just a theory for now. If Ashley Biden supports it, the story will be very different, very quickly.

I do think that if the diary is fake the prominent conservative people that commented can pivot out of it (hopefully) by claiming that what they said is reasonable conjecture seeing as the damn Feds decided to waste my time and money on a damn witch hunt for a fake diary.

The diary isn’t new. It was released right around the same time of Hunter’s laptop. It appears to be the same diary I saw a year ago.(same context) it never made it to any media outlets or journalists never took on the story. Much like Project Veritas. I don’t know if the diary is real from Ashley, and by the sounds of Project Veritas was also skeptical. I do know, when I did see it for the first time it was off a website of Asian decent and I didn’t understand what he was saying.
It sounds to me like you're trying to set up a narrative here calling us terrorists.
Also this is the first I've seen about the diary other than it being mentioned early on about Joe showering with his daughter.

It sounds to me like Seddon and O'Keefe had a fall out and he set up the PV owner.
In a really vengeful way, I hope this is real and not a psyop. We already know Biden is an utter pervert and pedophile. I don't think it's a very far stretch at all to suggest he had showers with his daughter. Numerous other people have been arrested and jailed for life for doing things like that.
It's very convenient that the diary was written in very legible cursive that was double spaced and perfect for scanning.
I work in supply chain and I get handwritten logs for a ton of different things and no one writes like that.
