The 2009 Recovery Act cost around $800 billion, and the person put in charge of overseeing how a lot of that money was spent was the country's new vice president, Joe Biden.
It's more than just "donations" to dems. The government ignored merger and acquisition activity that would normally have been stopped by antitrust regulation.
Look past the banks... look at what Big Pharma, Telecom and Media did with their TARP funds. Pfizer used to be half its current size, for instance.
Cross-reference that with shareholders and you see a very clear pattern of congressional insider trading- they picked the winners and losers across the entire economy.
You know what I would like to see is what happened to firms that didn't get TARP money- did they not agree to these 'donation' terms?
At the time this was happening, I knew people that worked at Genworth. At the time a lot of US life insurance carriers had European parents and they eagerlyhad their hands out which resulted in a lot of eyebrows raised. But Genworth did not. I knew people at Genworth at the time and they were one of the few companies whose TARP application was not approved. They couldn't understand it. They fought back saying we have done everything you asked per your instructions and they were basically told 'well, look how good you are doing without the money.' It was not long afterwards that they really started to have problems.
That's interesting. I had never heard this one before, but it certainly would not surprise me if they did this. It fits with their general M.O. The Democrats have many ways to funnel taxpayer and others' money back to themselves.
Yes and I was partners with a loan modification company in 2009 in 2010, We actually helps reduce peoples principal balances and monthly mortgage payments, Eliminated balloon payments, I even helped the homeowners shelter their assets offshore if need be so they will qualify. A lot of the homeowners had loans which they never even signed the mortgage industry would often swap the loans with another document and sign themselves sometimes being a toxic loan or negative amortization which was from the commercial Ditech loans were somehow polluted the residential mortgage market
Family members of mine and friends and many acquaintances said that what I was doing was a shady industry and that I should just let the homeowners call the banks them selves well this is the long-awaited told you so that I’ve been waiting for. The banks would deny deny deny because they didn’t want to give up any of these target funds they wanted to pocket them. Hi was a very adamant and vendetta fueled adversary to the banks and mortgage Conglomerates. Hi helped over 200 homeowners successfully and I did have one that we could not get through the bank was so stubborn so I completely quit and start after one person trusted me and I couldn’t help. I still keep in touch with the excellent people who also left with me.
TARP 1 and TARP 2 were bribes to Dem special interests paid by future generations. An absolute theft from US citizens and those who aren't even born yet. The worst part is that we knew it back then, but the mania over Hope-n-Change Hussein allowed Dems to get away with anything they wanted.
I once got the list of all the companies that received the TARP money. The companies all cried "we'll go under if we don't get that money!", but when I ran the numbers, the amounts were typically a few percent of the net value of the company. They could of obviously sold off a building or two, or stock, or something, to raise the same amount of money, but of course, they wanted all of us U.S. taxpayer suckers to pay for their stupidity. I never saw any talking head call them out on this obvious fact back when it was all happening; further evidence that even "conservative" media is in on scams across the board.
So weird, ive been meaning to post about this lately. Like "can we add TARP to the list of unpunished major treasons.for which blood is owed?"
How about this one from the memory hole -
JOE FREAKIN' BIDEN
JOE FREAKIN' BIDEN

TARP was a massive NOTHINGBURGER
now we know why..
Government = Graft
Au contraire mon frere, it was a giant something burger.
And now we know what that something was.
Gonna use this redpill. Thanks fren
See Above
This is my shocked face 😐
What’s crazy is that, to a bank - $10k isn’t a lot of money.
I would trade $10k for $10B all day every day. But to have this kind of access, this is 📕 textbook fraud triangle.

So true. And then RINOs be like “let’s let the free market handle this”
Bull shit... Rino's benefited too.
Democrats used a government program and/or major "charity" to funnel money into their own pockets? Stop the presses.
It's not just the Democrats! This is a worldwide corruption cabal. It goes to the very top of every country and it includes the Vatican too.
Most normals won't even 7nderstand this.
Until WE explain it to them... right?

Any sauce links?
Ron Paul showed that TARP turned out to be almost $30 Trillion doled out to banks around the world.
Bitchen MEME...
Going into the "liberal tears" folder. Thx fren.
Crisp and concise, I like it!
Happy 1911

Is there a reference for this information in the XLS?
Didn’t the Obamacare guy that said voters are stupid help allocate the first huge bailout.
Wow!! This looks good!! Explains where the corruption gets its bucks.
