His honesty deserves him some release for further contempt. He did get his arm shot up past repair.
That reminds me of one time I had to go to traffic court to fight a speeding ticket and the guy in front of me was in there for his 10th plus driving without a license charge and the judge asked him as soon as he stepped up how he got to court that day and he immediately said he drove in the judge banged his gavel and threw him in jail for 30 days.

This is pretty accurate, from what I saw yesterday. I don’t see how charges aren’t brought up against that Gauge fella. He lied on every report to the police. Never mentioned the handgun he was carrying illegally. Because it was concealed and his CCW was out of date. I mean the first time the guy admitted to all this was in the trail seat next to the judge. And he wants 10 million from all this, in his own lawsuit.

No the year in jail would be for lying to police and carrying an illegal firearm. And in today’s justice system, both of these carry more weight than rape, murder and kidnapping.

I was reading that people think he might be let off for illegal possession of a weapon in exchange for truthful testimony. You KNOW it’s not because they fear being charged for perjury.
I wouldn’t be surprised if eventually perjury in court is considered a 1st Amendment right.
Kyle should sue the hell out of anyone who's lies:
caused him to be indicted
or who's abuse of process/failure to protect evidence that could help the defense (FBI/destroyed very helpful-to-the-defense video).
Kyle should be aquitted and then he should get rich.
At least he ended up admitting the truth. It's a good start.
